| In recent years,the aquaculture industry of our country has continuously developed,and the total amount of culture has already occupied more than 70% of the world’s production,and the area of aquaculture is also located at the top of the world.At present,our country has become the world’s largest country for farming as well as exporting aquatic products.Jingzhou is located in the southwest part of Hubei Province,and its whole territory is located in the Jianghan Plain,where it has a rapid development due to the unique geographical conditions of relying on Yangtze River and Han Chinese water and rich waters in the territory as well as mudflat resources.As of 2020,the aquaculture area of Jingzhou has reached 1.95 million mu,and the rice shrimp co production area has reached 3.48 million mu,which respectively occupied 24.71% of the aquaculture area of Hubei Province as well as the rice shrimp co-production area and 40.98%.Therefore,Jingzhou has become an important aquaculture area in Hubei Province and even throughout the country,and the aquaculture industry has also become the backbone industry in Jingzhou.But in recent years,with the continuous development of the whole industry,some problems have also emerged,and the emergence of these problems has also constrained,to various degrees,the development of aquaculture in the whole Jingzhou.How to make the best use of the natural advantages of developing aquaculture in Jingzhou combined with the economic and social development goals of Jingzhou,achieving sustainable,efficient,and green development of aquaculture in Jingzhou becomes a currently urgent problem for Jingzhou.In this survey,through a field interview and questionnaire survey across various county urban areas within Jingzhou to collect the corresponding data and collate them,the survey found that the total area of Fisheries in Jingzhou reached 5802.7thousand mu in 2021;Among them,the area of fish and special farming is 1948.6thousand mu;Crayfish was cultured with an area of 3854.1 thousand mu;Fish production reached 117.9 thousand Tons;Crayfish production reached 43.69 thousand Tons;Special aquaculture varieties produce 27.14 thousand Tons.The area of fish culture has decreased,and the production has been stable and increased;Crayfish culture scale as well as area of cultivation has increased year by year;Crayfish farming areas in the city of Jianli occupied 38.54% of the city’s cultivation area.The second was Honghu and Gongan,which occupied 27.88% and 12.30% of the crayfish culture area in Jingzhou,respectively.For special aquaculture,compared with previous years,the cultivation area and the cultivation yield maintained stable,and did not show a large fluctuation,and the cultivation varieties were dominated by Chinese claw crab,Monopterus albus,as well as Rana Nigromaculata.The results of this analysis show that the resource endowment indexes for bulk freshwater fish and crayfish in Jingzhou comparing Hubei Province as well as the whole country are 7.62,7.47,and 24.99,64.87,and the data suggest that Jingzhou has a competitive advantage in aquaculture as well as in crayfish industry competition in the Hubei market as well as in the whole country,but suffers more competitive pressure and has relatively little competitive advantage within the Hubei Province.Meanwhile,from 2012 to 2021,the LQ index of locators in the aquaculture industry of Jingzhou was greater than 1;B index greater than 0;The aquaculture industry of Jingzhou still has a great potential for development,with a good development trend.The rank order of the SWOT subgroup analysis affecting the development of aquatic germplasm resources in Jingzhou is: strengths > opportunities > threats >weaknesses.While the advantage of natural resources;Cultured products do not match the market;The increase in consumption demand of the aquatic industry chain and the degradation of aquatic germplasm resources are the four components that have become the most influential weights.On the whole principle of carrying forward the advantages,using the opportunities,eliminating the threats,and circumventing the disadvantages,Jingzhou has a proactive so strategy that should be adopted,and other strategies should be adopted appropriately for synergistic development.Based on this,Jingzhou needs to do the following work:(1)actively use the advantages of native natural resources to continuously develop aquaculture and create a highly competitive indigenous aquaculture.(2)Reasonably layout the industrial structure,change the proportion of cultured varieties,demand for the standard market,and improve the economic benefits of cultured users.(3)Focusing on the conservation of germplasm resources as well as the supporting construction,seedlings with the local characteristics of Jingzhou were developed and promoted in collaboration with the Institute of scientific research,thereby protecting the existing high-quality germplasm resources from degradation.(4)Advancing the refinement and enforcement of the corresponding laws and regulations on aquatic product management to provide escort for future expansion of aquatic consumption needs. |
