Poaceae is the most economically valuable family of seed plants,and it also occupies a dominant position in ecology.It has strong ecological adaptability and a wide distribution range,covering about 20%of the earth’s surface.Poaceae are closely related to fungi.Fungi affect the growth and development of poaceae,degrade hosts into organic matter,promote material circulation,and regulate ecosystem balance.Hyphomycetes is one of the main pathogens of poaceae,which has a strong ability to spread.During the growth of poaceae,some fungi are infected,resulting in damage to economic benefits.For example,Periconia.circinata causes sorghum,wheat,etc.Plant root disease.Therefore,studying the hyphomycetes on poaceae enriches the diversity of fungal species,provides a genetic basis for the effective control of poaceae diseases,and provides a basis for the development and utilization of fungal resources..Sichuan Province’s geographical regional characteristics and climate types are complex and diverse,providing an ecological basis for biodiversity.There are many types of poaceae.At the same time,this area is also one of the hot spots for research on the diversity of fungal in China.There is a lack of systematic research on hyphomycetes in Sichuan.Therefore,in this study,the poaceae in Sichuan Province were used as hosts to investigate the hyphosporium resources.Specimens were collected at 14 sampling points in Sichuan namely Chengdu,Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture and other areas,and 266 specimens were collected.Based on the combination of morphology and molecular phylogenetics,this study established nine phylogenetic trees,identified and described 25 species.The following results are given:(1)12 new species:Arthrinium chenduense sp.nov、A.odorata sp.nov、A.Sichuanense sp.nov、Arthrobotrys chinense sp.nov、Hyphocapnodia sichuanensis sp.nov、Myxospora cortaderia sp.nov、Periconia chengduense sp.nov、P.cynodont sp.nov、P.festuca sp.nov、P.imperata sp.nov、P.pennisetum sp.nov、P.Spodiopogon sp.nov;(2)13 new host records:Arthrinium arundinis、A.aquaticum、A.Locuta、Clonostachys aranearum、Dendryphion europaeum、Epicoccum endophyticum、Myxospora masonii、Nigrospora musae、Periconia byssoides、P.chimonanthi、P.cookie、P.pseudobyssoides、P.verrucosa;(3)A new genus Hyphocapnodia was established in Capnodiaceae to accommodate the new species H.sichuanensis,and the genus was introduced and discussed in detail.This study has enriched the species diversity and host information of hyphomycetes(especially Periconia)in Poaceae,supplemented new species,new records,fresh specimens and molecular sequence data.
