Research On The Evolution Characteristics And Driving Factors Of The Reclamation Space In Shenzhen From 1979 To 2020

The various resources and location advantages of coastal zone provide unique conditions for the rapid expansion and development of coastal cities.Reclamation is an important utilization way for coastal zone development.Under the background of global rapid urbanization and industrialization,reclamation has become an important way to alleviate the contradiction between people and land,expand urban space and realize the economic take-off of land and sea.However,the disorderly reclamation projects have had negative impact on the coastal ecological environment.The reclamation policy has been changed from free support to strict control by government.It is very important to clarify the reclamation stock and development potential for the comprehensive reclamation control.Therefore,based on the characteristics of diverse land use types,highly intensive utilization methods,significant temporal changes and obvious spatial differentiation in reclamation areas,how to comprehensively grasp the historical development process and current situation of reclamation in Shenzhen,clarify the reclamation stock,and how to deeply analyze and excavate the spatial evolution characteristics and driving factors of reclamation are the core issues of this paper.This paper takes Shenzhen as the research scope,takes 9 different Landsat TM/ETM/OLI remote sensing images in 1979,1986,1990,1995,2000,2005,2009,2015 and 2020 as the data source,and relies on Arc GIS and ENVI software platform to understand,translate and extract the reclamation coastline and reclamation utilization classification information in various periods of Shenzhen.Based on the statistics of reclamation spatial information,the evolution law of reclamation scale rate change,spatial distribution characteristics,utilization type characteristics,reclamation and development intensity change in Shenzhen during the past 41 years is analyzed from two-dimensional space.Through the three-dimensional stretching of Arcscene10.2platform,we can visually see the development intensity and building distribution of Shenzhen reclamation area in 2020.In addition,through the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis,the specific driving factors and driving effects behind the evolution law are deeply explored from the three levels,including natural resources,policies,regulations and planning and social economy.After research,the main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The change of reclamation scale and rate shows significant phased characteristics.The reclamation scale increased rapidly at first,and then slowed down.The reclamation rate increased in a straight line,stabilized at a high speed,and then decreased in a straight line.(2)The reclamation space presents a spatial development pattern that the coastal strip extends from East to West and the scattered patch inlay coexists and gradually changes to a regional area.The West coast is large in scale and highly concentrated,while the East coast is small in scale and scattered.(3)The type of reclamation has changed from single to diversified and comprehensive development and utilization structure.In the early stage,it is mainly to reclaim the sea for aquaculture,and in the middle stage,it is mainly to reclaim the sea for the construction of ports,road and Bridge tunnels and reserve land.In the later stage,the new reclamation will be stopped,the types of reclamation tend to be diversified,and the types of urban construction,sports,leisure and entertainment have appeared one after another.Spatially,the type of reclamation has changed from strip and area to patch distribution,mainly due to the high degree of aggregation in the early stage and the frequent trend of later reclamation,so as to meet the needs of urban construction and development.The type of reclamation has changed from strip extension and patch filling to regional aggregation.(4)The reclamation intensity of the coastline firstly increased and then decreased in each period,and the East-West coastline formed a spatial differentiation pattern of "strong in the West and weak in the East",and the development intensity of Shenzhen Bay ranked first.(5)Natural resources establish the foundation for reclamation activities.Policies,regulations and planning guidance are the decisive factors that directly affect the reclamation process.Social and economic factors are the endogenous driving force of reclamation activities.
