The rock and mineral specimens of Xishan Coalfield are unique and non-renewable.The traditional collection display is not convenient for professionals to conduct academic exchanges,and it also limits the efficient development of geoscience popularization.Therefore,the three-dimensional model of rock and mineral specimens is favored by the majority of geologists.Taking the rock and mineral samples of Xishan coalfield as the main research object,according to the characteristics of complex structure,texture and large number of rock and mineral samples in the mining area,the multi-view image 3D reconstruction technology is selected,and design and build a matching 3D ring object photography device to collect more than 30,000 high-quality images,and choose Context Capture Center software for 3D reconstruction.Under the premise of ensuring the accuracy of the 3D model,the 3D model data memory is compressed by converting the OBJ format data to GLB format.Using the above technologies and methods,the three-dimensional reconstruction process of rock and mineral samples in the mining area was optimized,and a refined three-dimensional model of more than 300 representative rock and mineral samples in the Xishan coalfield was established.The above technologies have realized the digital construction of rock and mineral specimens in Xishan Coalfield.On this basis,integrated many geological achievements in various mining areas of Xishan Coalfield,and designed and developed a virtual simulation platform for the geological achievements of Xishan Coalfield.The platform adopts the B/S three-tier architecture architecture,uses My SQL as the relational database,Express as the back-end framework,and uses the Vue.js framework for the front-end,and designs and implements eight functional modules-website homepage,geological science,geological specimens,geological regulations,geological data,geological system,route geology,and geological evolution.Among them,the geological specimen module combines WebGL technology to realize the functions of loading,zooming and rotating 3D models on the web page.The module also has functions such as database specimen query,specimen property display and voice reading.Other modules mainly realize the browsing functions of geological pictures,documents,videos and other data.The platform fully taps existing geological resources and improves resource utilization.Combining the virtual simulation platform of Xishan coalfield geological achievements with QR code technology,designed and produced QR code label cards for rock and mineral specimens for the specimen room of the Resource Geology Department of Xishan Coal and Electricity Group.The basic attribute information and QR code of the specimen are recorded on the label.Geologists can use the mobile phone to scan the QR code of the label,and then they can directly jump to the mobile interface of the geological specimen module of the website,and can view the 3D model of the specimen and detailed attribute information,including chemical composition,Evolutionary history,detailed description,geological age,etc.Meanwhile,Using Android technology and Open GL ES technology to develop a 3D model APP for rock and mineral specimens,which preliminarily realizes the functions of browsing the 3D model,attribute information and voice reading of rock and mineral specimens on Android mobile phones anytime,anywhere,and can be used in the geological working environment with poor network in the field.Based on the above-mentioned technologies and methods of digitalization and visualization construction,a set of standardized three-dimensional reconstruction process of rock and mineral specimens in mining areas and construction process of virtual simulation platform are finally formed,which have high operability and certain economic benefits.It can effectively improve the professional quality and skills of geologists of Xishan Coal and Electricity Group,and expand the overall view,system view,scientific view and geological vision of coal mine geologists.
