With the rapid development of marine technology,the demand for information inter-action between underwater and above-surface targets has become increasingly prominent.Crossmedia communication can realize information sharing between devices in different media,greatly improving work efficiency.At the same time,sound waves are currently the most effective underwater communication method.In the face of harsh marine environ-ments,the formulation and application of underwater acoustic communication protocol standards is particularly important in order to establish a communication link between un-derwater acoustic information and information above the water surface.First of all,this paper expounds the research status of cross-media communication at home and abroad,and summarizes the underwater communication protocols.The paper introduces the physical model of the underwater acoustic communication system,and studies the data packet frame structure and parameter index restriction relationship of the "JANUS" protocol standard.Fully considering the actual characteristics of the underwater acoustic channel,the signal modulation methods are simulated and compared under dif-ferent channel conditions,different channel coding algorithms are simulated,and the communication protocol is modeled and designed.Secondly,based on the analysis of communication protocol standards and parameters,the performance indicators of hardware processors are integrated,and the core processor architecture of FPGA+DSP is used to develop the hardware platform.The signal prepro-cessing circuit,signal acquisition circuit and digital signal processing circuit are designed,including power supply module,core control module,communication interface module and so on.The software and algorithm development part mainly includes communication protocol signal acquisition,u PP transmission between boards and Ping-Pang real-time processing,data analysis,Socket communication transmission,etc.On this basis,the signal synchronization detection algorithm is designed,and the external synchronization method based on Notch filter and the self-synchronization method based on Goertel algorithm are developed.The development and testing of the driver program verifies the robustness of the communication protocol in the hardware system and ensures the normal operation of each part of the function.Finally,the paper conducted an overall joint debugging of the buoy system based on the underwater acoustic communication protocol,verifying that all parts of the software and hardware met the parameter index requirements,and conducted pool tests and field lake tests.The results show that the underwater acoustic communication protocol standard designed in this paper has good real-time,robustness and reliability.The interconnected buoy system based on the communication protocol can accurately detect the signal and successfully parse the data packet,establish the communication link of underwater targets and targets above the water surface,and has good communication performance.
