| In the global water and energy shortage environment,solar evaporators developed by traditional materials such as metals,carbon-based materials and polymers have shown good performance,but their complex synthesis,high price and non-renewable materials will cause resource waste and increase the burden on the environment.Wood and other biomass materials have the characteristics of green,renewable,pollution-free and other environment-friendly.The solar evaporator made from wood and other biomass materials can overcome this problem.In this study,wood slices(W),nanocellulose(NFC)and wheat straw(S)were used as raw materials,and carbon black(CB)was used as light absorbing material to develop a green and sustainable solar energy evaporator(SNWC-SE)with high light and heat conversion performance,high water transport rate,high evaporation rate and effective water treatment capacity.The research contents of this paper are summarized when exploring the performance of the prepared solar evaporator,as follows:(1)The wood slices are uniformly loaded with CB as the photothermal evaporation film;S is closely arranged longitudinally after cutting as a directional water channel;NFC aerogel is filled in the internal and gaps of S as an absorbent material,the solar evaporator with composite multi-level structure is assembled.The photothermal evaporation film,water channel and NFC aerogel were characterized by morphology,and the corresponding absorbance,water permeability and water transport performance of each structure were analyzed.(2)Conduct various performance tests on solar evaporators prepared from wood and other biomass materials.The photothermal evaporation film prepared from W loaded with CB has reached a absorbance of more than 90%in the solar spectrum range of 200-2500 nm;the surface temperature increased by 17℃for 2 h under 1 kW m-2optical analog output power;The part assembled by S and NFC aerogel has the function of water limitation and water transportation,longitudinal water transfer rate is 210.7 g min-1,the water evaporation rate can reach 3.05 kg h-1m-2under the stable operation condition with 1 kW m-2optical analog output power.(3)By combining the prepared solar evaporator with the water collecting device,a solar steam water collecting device for seawater desalination and dirty water purification can be obtained.In the 75-day outdoor experiment,the prepared solar evaporator showed excellent stability and excellent reusability.The water collected by outdoor seawater desalination and dirty water purification is colorless and tasteless,and a number of ion detection,salinity detection and water quality detection indicators are in line with international and national drinking water standards. |
