Registration of land ownership and its appendages is an important part of development of urbanization.With urban development, including above-ground and under-ground expansion, the traditional two-dimensional cadastral registration of land rights fails to handle the estate property management of 3D-based urban. In that case, 3D-based cadastral registration system that can handle the management of above-ground, ground and under-ground urban features by apropos expanding the two-dimensional registration model to three-dimensional model, is expected to settle this handicap. Therefore, the pertinent researches of 3D cadastral registration has drawn a great attention among the researches of domestic land use managementIn order to follow the trend of unified real estate registration, in this study, based on the’smart Hefei’project, we innovatively developed a Windows-based 3D cadastral registration system using a Unity-3d software. In this system, we targeted at a better 3D cadastral registration. Based on the summarization of the existing researches about the establishment and application of three-dimensional cadastral registration. We utilized multi-source data, like aerial photogrammetry data, photography data and field measurement data, and multiple techniques, including CityEngine,3D Max, AutoCAD and Photoshop to develop such a system. In addition, the DOM orthophoto data, multiple data DEM digital elevation model, parcels body model, transportation facilities and other types of model are integrated into a unified 3D cadastral information database. The system realizes the effect of three-dimensional representation parcel crystalline transparent body, the 2D and 3D cadastre joint management and in accordance with the "room-buildings-parcel" way to inquiry. It provides a feasible visualization way of 3D cadastre research methods and makes a referenced and promotional effect to the other provinces of the three-dimensional cadastral projects.
