Abstract/Summary:
The pull-line wind tower is a high-rise structure used to measure the wind speed of the w ind field,which is often damaged by strong wind,ice and other loads.Once the pull-line wind tower collapses,it not only causes some economic damage,but also causes wind observation i nterruption,which seriously affects the assessment of wind energy resources,delays and disru pts the development and construction plan of wind farms.Therefore,it is of great practical sig nificance to ensure the safety of the pull-line wind tower.In this paper,the ultimate bearing capacity of the pull-line wind tower and the dynamic s tructural response of the pull-line ice shedding are analyzed,and the mechanical performance and failure mechanism of the structure are clarified,which provides the basis for the safety de sign and disaster prevention and mitigation design of the pull-line wind tower.The main research contents are as follows :1)The finite element model of the pull-line wind tower is established by considering th e shape-finding of the pull-line.The rationality of the finite element model of the pull-line and wind tower is verified by the static comparative analysis results of the pull-line wind tower.2)Two methods for fast calculation of windward area of pull-line wind tower under diff erent ice thicknesses are proposed and verified.The static nonlinear calculation of high efficie ncy and high precision pull-line wind tower is realized,and the structural failure characteristic s are analyzed.3)The influence of coating ice thickness on the dynamic characteristics of pull-line,wi nd tower and pull-line wind tower was analyzed.The adaptability of the modified density met hod and the additional ice element method to the dynamic response analysis of the pull-line ic e shedding is analyzed.On this basis,the additional ice element method is used to analyze the influence of different the pull-line ice shedding methods on the dynamic response of the struc ture.4)The analysis results of dynamic response sensitive parameters show that when the ice thickness increases,the greater the impact force caused by the pull-line ice shedding on the w ind tower and its pull-line;when the damping ratio is in the range of 0.01 – 0.04,the influenc e of the pull-line ice shedding on the dynamic response of the structure is small.
