Research On Evaluation Of Earnings Quality Of Agricultural Listed Companies Based On Entropy Weight-TOPSIS Method

Agriculture is an important field of our national security and an indispensable basic industry in people’s livelihood.The quality of agricultural production is related to all aspects of economic development,in recent years,a series of events related to food production safety,such as African swine fever practice,locust disaster and flood in Shouguang,can be seen that the shock of agricultural production will radiate to all walks of life,and even cause panic among the people.Therefore,it is imperative to pay attention to the healthy development and reasonable operation of agricultural listed companies,and the profit quality can well reflect the operation and future development of the enterprises,so this article chooses the profit quality as the research object.This paper adopts entropy weight-TOPSIS method and follows the principle of index selection to select secondary index from five aspects: growth,profitability,security,stability and cash guarantee,establish the evaluation system of earnings quality of agricultural listed companies and obtain the comprehensive score of earnings quality.In combination with the annual report of D Company and the industry data in recent years,master the development status of D Company itself,and then through the horizontal and vertical comparative analysis,understand the position and ranking status of D Company in the industry,get a scientific picture of the quality of earnings.The empirical research shows that D Company performs well in the industry,and the industry earnings quality requires high stability and growth,while D Company’s earnings quality focuses on profitability.At the same time,it is found that the profitability,growth and security of D Company are very unstable,which is not conducive to the evaluation of profit quality,slow growth in net income.Through the review of the year’s operating conditions and background environment,to find out the internal and external causes of the impact,corresponding to the proposed countermeasures.D company should take reasonable use of its own advantages and resources,improve the industrial chain,integrate diversified development,strengthen brand awareness and other measures to achieve healthy development of profit quality.
