Research On Botanic Volatile Organic Compounds And Physical Environmental Quality Of Scenic Bamboo Forest

Abstract/Summary:
Forest healthcare is a comprehensive functions of forest environment,but mainly through the release of volatile substances beneficial to human body to improve immunity,preventions and treatment of diseases and other purposes.In the areas rich in bamboo tourism resources,the lack of research on BVOCs and environmental indicators of scenic bamboo forest makes its utilizations in forest health and conservations unsatisfactory.This research takes common 10 kinds of scenic bamboo forest in Sichuan Province as the research object,using SPME-GC-MS method for the identifications of the spring and summer leaves BVOCs analysis,and has carried on the bamboo on the basis of BVOCs to the common pathogenic bacteria in the human respiratory system bacteriostatic experiment,selected Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro.forest as the research object of physical environment quality index,through on-the-spot observations explores the microclimate and air cleanliness factor of daily variations and seasonal variations law of Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro.forest in Hongta village,Dahua town,Renshou County,and compared with the physical environment quality index of Chengren road,Dahua town,this paper evaluates the thermal comfort of human body and air cleanliness of scenic bamboos forest,and further puts forward the countermeasures for the utilization of scenic bamboos forest.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The 10 kinds of bamboo leaf BVOCs in spring and summer are dominated by alcohols,aldehydes and esters,of which the relative content of alcohols is the highest.The main BVOCs are leaf alcohols,2-hexenal and 1-octen-3-ol,Trans-2-hexene-1-ol,and n-hexyl formate.In general,from spring to summer,alcohols,aldehydes,alkanes,and other compounds in bamboo leaf BVOCs decreased,while esters,ketones,terpenes,and furans increased.The BVOCs of different types of bamboo have their own characteristics.The alcohols and esters of BVOCs content of scattered bamboo in spring and summer was higher than those of sympodial bamboo,while aldehydes was lower than that of sympodial bamboo.The terpenes of scattered bamboo was higher than that of sympodial bamboo.In terms of similarity degree,the similarity of BVOCs in 9 bamboo leaves was relatively high,except Bambusa chungii Mc Clure(BCS>72%).Bamboo leaf BVOCs of scattered bamboo and mixed bamboo were the most similar(BCS>84%).(2)In spring and summer,10 kinds of bamboo leaf BVOCs showed good inhibitory effect on the pathogenic bacteria of 3 kinds of respiratory infectious diseases,and had the best inhibitory effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Compared with summer,bamboo leaf BVOCs showed stronger bacteriostatic effect.Scattered bamboo and clumped bamboo had different inhibitory effects on different kinds of bacteria.The inhibitions rate of bamboo leaf BVOCs on Staphylococcus aureus:Scattered bamboo>Sympodial bamboo;The inhibitions rate on Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa:Sympodial bamboo>Scattered bamboo.Taken together,Dendrocalamus Latiflorus Munro.has the best inhibitory effect on pathogens of respiratory infectious diseases.(3)Thermal comfort degree of PET human body:the comfort degree of bamboo forest and forest edge in spring and summer is higher than that in autumn and winter;Bamboo forest and forest edge in spring and summer is more comfortable than the urban road.Airborne particulate matter:The concentrations of airborne particulate matter in three sizes throughout the day in spring and summer in the bamboo forest has reached the national first-level regional standard,most of the time in autumn has reached the national first-level regional standard,and winter has reached the national second-level regional standard;The annual average concentrations of TSP and PM2.5 has reached the national first-level regional standard,and the annual average concentrations of PM10 has reached the national second-level regional standard.Air negative oxygen ions:The concentrations of negative oxygen ions in the bamboo forest in spring,summer,and autumn all reaches1000ions/cm~3 or more,and during winter from 13:00 to 15:00,it reaches 1000ions/cm~3 or more;The annual average is higher than 1000 ions/cm~3.Air microorganisms:The air bacterial concentration in the four seasons in bamboo forest and forest edge was in the clean range at each time period.Part of the time the air fungus concentration in the clean range;The annual mean of air bacterial concentration in bamboo forest and forest edge was in the clean range,while the annual mean of air fungus concentration was in the slightly polluted range(4)Based on the comprehensive considerations of physical environmental quality indicators,it is appropriate to carry out healthcare activities in spring and autumn in bamboo forest and forest edge;summer and winter are not suitable for healthcare activities.In the forest,spring 9:00 and autumn 13:00 have the best effects;forest edge spring 9:00and autumn 15:00 have the best effects.
