| Subsea Control System,as a key facility for subsea oil & gas engineering,i s highly required for its life and reliability due to its uncontrollability,high economic loss and environmental hazards after failure.Integrating for performance and reliability is an emerging research in reliability engineering in recent years.It integrates the performance and reliability of a system into the same model and solves the problem of serious disconnect between performance design and reliability design.In view of the current fact that integrating for performance and reliability do not form a systematic theoretical framework,what’s more,there are no effective methods of reliability analysis for Subsea Control System.This study can provide the foundation for the improvement of reliability analysis for Subsea Control System,and it has certain theoretical significance and good practical value.Firstly,the paper has collated domestic and foreign literature,and a detailed description of integrating for performance and reliability that is recognized by domestic research is presented in the paper,and the basic principles and key technologies are elaborated.Besides,based on the reliability concept and the longevity,high reliability,and high complexity of the current systems,the inadequacies of this method are pointed out.Secondly,for the inadequacies of the current integrating for performance and reliability,an improve proposal for integrating for performance and reliability that is based on performance degradation is introduced in this paper.In this new method,the‘time’ is extended into the whole life of a system and the performance status of the whole life is considered.Finally,performance model of Subsea Control System has been developed and according to the working principle and characteristics of Subsea Control System,an integrating solution for the performance and reliability of Subsea Control System is designed and related experiments are conducted.Based on this reliability of performance,the weakness of Subsea Control System can be found during the in-service period,and thus targeted improvement suggestions for Subsea Control System can be provided.This paper focuses on those two emerging researches of Subsea Control System and integrating of performance and reliability.It teases out and classifies the current integrating for performance and reliability.And,aiming at long-life,high reliability and high complexity of Subsea Control System,the two new researches are effectively combined and an integrating solution for the performance and reliability of Subsea Control System is designed.Through the experiment,the weakness of the system can be found out,and targeted performance optimization of the system can be provided,thereby this method will play a key role in the Subsea Control System’s localization and the safety and reliability in its engineering application. |
