With the continuous expansion of China's international influence,more and more foreign students choose China as their destination for higher education.This also makes universities re-examine the management of international students in China.In recent years,the derivation of negative news such as "student companions" and "attacks on the police" has provided an opportunity for universities to change their management ideas for international students in China.The standard of assimilation management of international students in China should be similar with the management practice of Chinese students,which effectively breaks the ideological limitations of specialization and differentiation treatment of international students in the early stage of the development of China's overseas study career.From an equal and objective point of view,assimilation management provides some ideas for universities to train international students in a healthy way.J University is a provincial backbone university in a northern province,but because it has not entered the ranks of "double first-class" universities,it cannot compare with universities in first-tier cities in terms of the scale of international students coming to China.However,J University has run the international issues for ten years,and its management of international students can represent the actual situation of most dual-non-college institutions.From the perspective of managers,this thesis uses the different means to get the related information,such as questionnaires,interviews etc.This thesis analyzes the problems around assimilation management in J University in enrollment and admission,training and teaching,and daily management.Through data analysis,we can see the essence through the phenomenon.From the top-level design of the school,there is a lack of assimilation planning,the system construction of secondary units lacks systematic consideration of assimilation management,the speed of international teaching staff construction slows down the assimilation process,and the internal friction of the management team.These four aspects,which seriously limit the innovation speed of convergent management,analyze the causes of convergent management problems.In order to solve the problems,the author gives solutions from five aspects: first,on the point of comprehensively improving the management mechanism for the assimilation of international students in China,using perfect rules and regulations can reduce the differences in the management of Chinese and foreign students,and to use the construction of a digital management platform to promote Chinese and foreign students.Student management information exchange,strengthen foreign affairs risk prediction and emergency response to ensure a reasonable assimilation management and rationalize the communication mechanism to promote the assimilation management smoothly;from the perspective,the author suggests that we should coordinate and mobilize the management departments of the school to actively participate in the assimilation management,increase the implementation of the assimilation management concept by the counselors of international students in China,and strengthen the influence of the teaching reform on the assimilation management;third,from the perspective of attaching importance to psychological construction and ideological education with cultural adaptability as the core,the author suggests that we should face the implementation of convergent management with a balanced psychological state,and use the means of ideological education to increase the acceptance of convergent management by international students in China;fourth,from the perspective of strengthening the self-management awareness under the convergent management of international students,it proposes countermeasures to build a self-management platform under the background of convergent management and strengthen peer mutual aid;fifth,from the perspective of social forces,it proposes to promote the countermeasures of the assimilation management of international students.To sum up,solving the problem of assimilation management of international students in China can realize the dynamic balance of Chinese and foreign students in their education,and to truly improve the quality and efficiency of the education in universities.Through the countermeasures proposed by the author,the special labels on international students in China can be eliminated as soon as possible,so that Chinese and foreign students can live in harmony,and push the construction of "double first-class University Plan" in the universities.
