With the reform of basic education and the continuous development of scientific curriculum concepts,the curriculum objectives have shifted from emphasizing the contents of scientific knowledge to cultivating the core literacy of science.As a basic part of science courses,experiment is an effective way to cultivate students' core literacy of science subjects.Self-made teaching aids can not only fully embody the concept of "Science comes from life",that is,they can be developed by using living materials,but they can also freely exert the teacher's innovative ability and integrate the latest scientific and technological achievements into experimental design and teaching.Therefore,it becomes an especially important supplement to junior high school scientific experiments.Based on my own understanding,this article makes a useful attempt to improve the effect of experiments by use of common materials in life and the design and production of the low temperature experiments.Firstly,using the literature research method,I traced the history of the development of self-made teaching aids.On the basis of sorting out the research status of homemade teaching aids at home and abroad and sorting out representative experimental research results in the field of junior high school science,I discussed and analyzed the feasibility and necessity of using common materials in daily life to improve experiments and develop low temperature experiments(liquid nitrogen temperature zone).And based on the theoretical analysis related to self-made teaching aids,I provided conceptual support and theoretical guidance for the next practical actions.Secondly,I use case analysis and action research methods to develop self-made teaching aid cases.Based on the analyze of the textbook experiment and the relevant literature and data,I designed,improved and produced pressure-related experimental teaching aids for covering cups,simulated Magdeburg hemisphere experimental teaching aids,improved devices for the influence of air pressure on boiling point,improved aircraft lift model device,optical part-related simulated mirage experiment device,and biology-related burner device for measuring energy in food.In addition,on the basis of sorting out the temperature-related content in the textbook,the feasibility and necessity of carrying out low-temperature experiments were discussed,and an extremely low temperature zone(liquid nitrogen)experiment case was designed and developed,mainly including series of experiments of atmospheric pressure,vaporization and air liquefaction,and resistance change with temperature.Each case is elaborated in detail from the experimental background,required equipment,demonstration process and effect,and principle analysis.Finally,from the perspective of experimental design,I summarized the above experimental cases,pointed out the physical nature behind these experimental phenomena,and provided ideas for experimental design.At the same time,combined with my own understanding,I give relevant teaching suggestions.
