| Chorus teaching in high school music curriculum plays an important and positive role in the all-round development of students,enriches students’ aesthetic emotional experience,and establishes and strengthens students’ collective consciousness.High school chorus teaching is mainly in three forms: class chorus teaching,campus activity chorus teaching and chorus module elective course teaching.In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the music curriculum standard for ordinary high schools,and chorus has become one of the six optional compulsory modules.Some high schools with good chorus teaching in China have taken the lead in music curriculum reform,and some high schools have also opened special elective courses for chorus modules in accordance with the requirements of the new music curriculum standard.Leshan No.1middle school is a national demonstration high school with the current situation of chorus teaching in Sichuan Province.In 2019,it opened the course of "high school chorus appreciation and chorus training" for chorus module for sophomores.The author serves as one of the teachers of this elective course.Chorus module teaching is to gather students who come from different classes and are interested in chorus together for systematic chorus teaching,which is different from the traditional chorus teaching,which takes fixed classes as the object,focuses on music appreciation teaching materials and songs,and is scattered.Chorus module teaching is relatively more systematic and professional,has higher requirements for students,and pays full attention to the practicality of music discipline.After teaching solid basic knowledge and chorus skills,students will also be organized to participate in chorus performance or competition practice activities.Chorus module teaching is a new form of teaching after the introduction of the new music curriculum standard.At present,many high schools have not carried out it,and there is little research in the academic community.Combined with my own exploration experience in Leshan No.1 middle school,the author discusses the current situation,problems and Strategies of chorus module teaching.Firstly,the paper summarizes the chorus module teaching in senior high school,defines the origin and development,form and value of chorus,and the requirements of chorus module teaching in senior high school music curriculum.Then,taking the chorus module teaching process of the author and three other teachers as the research object,this paper makes an all-round investigation on the chorus module teaching practice of Leshan No.1 middle school,including the curriculum setting of the elective course of chorus module "high school chorus appreciation and chorus training".The chorus module teaching lasts for one semester and adopts a three-stage method.The early stage is mainly chorus basic education,Focusing on appreciation teaching,basic singing training and chorus assessment,let students find and feel the beauty of music,and improve students’ aesthetic ability.Basic training includes training in breath,intonation,voice,posture and so on.The middle stage is mainly the training of chorus skills,such as command,timbre imitation,starting sound,sound integration,sound coherence,interval,chord and so on.The later stage is the organization and training of chorus practice activities,including selecting appropriate chorus works,understanding and dealing with works’ emotions,forming stage expressiveness and so on.With my own teaching experience,the author summarizes and reflects on the problems in the chorus module from the perspective of teachers and students.From the perspective of teachers,many high school teachers themselves have not undergone professional chorus training,so it is difficult to give high-level guidance to students,and some teachers’ teaching methods are too single,It does not reflect the systematicness and professionalism of chorus module teaching.In addition,teachers do not regard the students taking chorus module courses as a whole and lack basic management,which makes it difficult for students to form a united and cohesive collective,which also reduces the effect of chorus teaching.From the perspective of students,the gap of students’ musical literacy has increased,and the difficulty of chorus coordination is high,which can not deeply achieve the goal of "combining sound and emotion and becoming one".In view of these problems,this paper puts forward targeted suggestions.On the one hand,teachers need to constantly improve their chorus teaching level and highlight the teaching characteristics of chorus module.On the other hand,they also need to help students form a correct understanding of chorus and let students find,understand,understand and express beauty by participating in chorus.In addition,chorus module teaching is highly dependent on teaching materials,and teachers need to constantly enrich and improve the school-based teaching materials of chorus module curriculum. |
