Research On The Socialsocial Work Involved In Community Volunteer'S Ability To Serve The Elderly

Community pension is an important part of the social pension service system,which undertakes the important functions of life care,spiritual comfort and so on.In the process of providing services for the aged in the community,volunteers are an important force.To improve the service ability of the old service volunteers is an important prerequisite for the development of voluntary service.This study takes the "sunshine soul tea bar" project of M community in n city as an example,through the investigation and analysis of 15 old service volunteers,to understand the service level and service ability of volunteers,and then use the group work Method to improve the volunteer service ability.Research shows that when most volunteers provide services for the elderly,they just chat with the elderly to relax,beat their backs,help the elderly walk or play mahjong with the elderly and so on.Their professional service ability is seriously inadequate.The reason is that many volunteers think that they are to assist the community staff to carry out their work,without initiative and responsibility awareness,and lack of relevant professional knowledge.In view of this situation,social workers use group work methods to guide group members to communicate with each other,pay attention to the overall team cohesion,encourage group members to learn and share experience with each other,play the interaction between group members,prompt group members to carefully observe the relevant content of social workers,and master more professional knowledge and methods.Group work involvement in community volunteers' ability to serve the elderly has a good effect.The main goal of group activity is to intervene in the improvement of the ability to serve the elderly through social work,so that the group members can gradually master the relevant professional skills and knowledge for the elderly under the leadership of social workers,on the other hand,they can learn from each other to enhance the cohesion of the community for the old service volunteer group,so that each member can realize themselves,and provide better services for the old in the future.There are also some problems in the group work method involving in the improvement of community volunteers' service ability for the old,which is manifested in that the service object of the activity is the volunteer group,so in the process of the activity,the Social Union pays more attention to the overall situation of volunteers and ignores the details of individuals,resulting in the failure to find the problems of individuals in time,which is also due to the large number of group members,more time will be spent in discipline management and ice breaking at the beginning.So at the end of each activity targeted to some of the volunteers with problems to carry out a certain case work can make up for the shortcomings of the group work.At the same time,social work is not omnipotent.It is not enough to improve the ability of volunteers through social work methods alone.It also needs a lot of external resources and social support.The innovation of this paper lies in that few researchers study the social work methods involved in the improvement of volunteers' ability,and even fewer researchers study the social work methods involved in the improvement of old service volunteers' ability,which is a major feature of this study.However,due to the lack of relevant research,the research results of this study may have some particularity,which is only for reference.
