A Study Of Female Consciousness In Chinese Rural Thematic Teleplays

Rural females are one of the key forces in rural modernization construction.These women not only witnessed the earth-shaking changes in China's rural areas since the reform and opening up,but also reflected the contemporary rural style and spiritual connotation.The rural thematic teleplays pay attention to the living situation and psychological state of rural females in its unique way.It has shaped many female images and expressed the awakening and development of rural female consciousness.The“country love”TV series have been broadcast 12,It shaped a series of distinctive rural females,described the changes in their economic,social,emotional and living conditions under the background of new socialist countryside construction.More comprehensively reflects the face of current rural females and involved in our country's long-standing gender concept.It reflects the awakening of females consciousness in Rural China in the new era,but still bound by the traditional patriarchal culture and the commercialization of the current consumption era.This study is based on the feminist narratology theory and taking "country love" TV series as an example,through the interpretation of its female image and the expression of female consciousness,excavated the residue of male power consciousness,reflect the shortcomings of their female consciousness,in order to arouse the attention of the audience and creators to gender issues and promote the dissemination of gender awareness.The dissertation is divided six parts.Introduction provides a general survey of the research background and significance,combing the research status of female consciousness and rural thematic teleplays,explains the connotation of female consciousness studied in this paper;The first chapter mainly from the lifestyle changes,ideological innovation and other aspects,to explore and summarize the evolution of females Female gender consciousness,self-consciousness and subjective consciousness behind the rural thematic teleplays represented by "country love" TV series;The second chapter summarizes the relevant situation of the "country love" TV series,And from the body appearance,inner character,cultural level,social roles and the destiny ending five aspects analysis its female image setting,in order to have a clearer and complete understanding of them;The third chapter examine the awakening and development of female consciousness in rural thematic teleplays from three levels: gender consciousness,self-consciousness and subject consciousness;The fourth chapter reflects on the deficiency of female consciousness in the "Country Love" TV series,stripping away the male-centered consciousness and consumerism thought buried in the current rural thematic teleplays;In the fifth chapter,I put forward my own reflections on the shortcomings of females consciousness in the current rural thematic teleplays.To raise public awareness of women,realize the importance of harmonious development of gender relations,so as to drive the wider spread of female consciousness.
