Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV),which is increasingly in the spotlight,is being widely used in civilian fields and becoming increasingly mature in industry applications.However,the UAV operations are now mostly carried out by the operator controlling directly via the remote controller,which leads to a certain direct impact on the technical level of the operator and the quality of the operations.Therefore,skills training are usually required for the operator.Compared with manual operations,the efficiency of the UAV operations has been improved,but they still suffers from artificial limitations,including the inability to work for a long time and the inability of manual vision to follow the UAV.At the same time,in the face of heavy operational tasks,the operational data may not be saved in a timely manner.In response to these problems,the remote flight control technology via DJI Mobile SDK is researched,using the DJI quad-rotor UAV as the research object,and a remote flight control system is designed and developed based on this technology.The mobile application for accessing and controlling the UAV,the relay program for receiving,forwarding and saving data,and the remote client for cross-platform access are designed and developed,respectively using Android,C#,and ASP.NET MVC framework.The communication data link using Socket and the image data link using Nginx as the streaming media server are established.And the design and the creation of the data tables are completed.As a result,the remote flight control system realizes the functions of remote control of UAV,remote route planning and execution of missions,remote data return and display,remote viewing of flight images,remote online management of operation results,etc.The concise graphical operation interfaces reflect the corresponding functions in an intuitive way,which enhances the experience and reduces the professional ability level of the users.The mobile application also has a local control mode to solve the problem of not being able to follow the UAV's view during local operations.The experimental platform has been built,the flight control experiments and joint ground hangar application experiment have been completed.Both results show that the remote flight control system of quad-rotor UAV based on Mobile SDK could operates stably,each part of the functions operates conveniently and is executed as expected,the two data links transmit effectively and reliably,and the expected purposes of remote controlling,remote viewing of UAV operations and so on are basically realized.As well as the joint ground hangar application is practical and feasible,which could lay a solid foundation for the UAV operations in the field and effectively solve the problems of less staffing,large operation area and heavy operation tasks in the industry applications.
