With the development of Internet technology and the increase of researchers' needs for communicating and disseminating academic information,general-purpose social networks can no longer meet the academic needs of researchers,and Academic Social Network Sites(ASNS)have emerged in the academic field specifically for people with academic needs.Users' knowledge contribution is an important factor to sustain the long-term development of ASNS.However,in the actual use process,knowledge acquisition is far higher than knowledge contribution,and knowledge contribution is insufficient.To explain and improve the current state of inadequate knowledge contribution by users of ASNS,it is important to clarify what factors influence users' knowledge contribution behavior.In view of this,this study explored the factors influencing users' knowledge contribution behavior based on literature research and relevant theories,clarified the relationships among the factors,and proposed countermeasures to optimize users' knowledge contribution behavior from the influencing factors.The main contents of this study covered the following aspects.First,we introduced the research background,research significance and the current situation of domestic and foreign research,and explained the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations of this study.At present,scholars at home and abroad have conducted more research on large categories such as knowledge exchange and knowledge sharing,and relatively little research has been conducted on the small category of knowledge contribution.In terms of the selection of research platforms,most of the existing studies used virtual communities or general social networks to conduct research,and relatively few studies have been conducted on professional ASNS.In view of this,In view of this,this study took the factors influencing the knowledge contribution behavior of ASNS users as the research topic.Second,the factors influencing the knowledge contribution behavior of ASNS users were identified and analyzed.The research data were collected through semi-structured interviews,the raw interview data were organized into text that could be analyzed,and the text data were coded at three levels of rooting theory using the qualitative analysis software Nvivo12 Pro.After the theoretical saturation test,53 initial concepts,14 initial categories,6main categories,2 dimensions and 1 core category were finally analyzed.On this basis,a grounded theoretical model of the factors influencing the knowledge contribution behavior of ASNS users was generated comparing the theoretical foundation of this study and sorting out the relationship between each category,and each influencing factor was specifically explained and analyzed.Finally,strategies to optimize the knowledge contribution behavior of ASNS users were proposed.The main strategies are: alleviating the subjective pressure perceived by users,guiding them to generate positive behavioral attitudes,enhancing their capabilities through education and training,exploring their motivations and creating new needs,resolving risks in their use,and providing opportunities to promote knowledge contribution.
