In order to deal with the influence of strong ground clutter interference on radar target detection,it is necessary to study effective clutter suppression methods.Frequency diverse array MIMO radar is a new system radar that combines frequency diverse array and multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)technology.The signal model of frequency diverse array MIMO radar has range-dependent characteristics.This thesis studies the clutter suppression method under the frequency diverse array MIMO radar system.The main research contents are summarized as follows:1.The clutter signal model of frequency diverse array MIMO radar is studied.For ground clutter,the clutter coverage area is evenly divided into several scattering units along the range dimension and angle dimension by dividing the grid,and the clutter model under the frequency diverse array MIMO radar system is established.At the same time,according to different array configurations,discussions are carried out under the conditions of side-looking array and non side-looking array respectively,and the distribution characteristics,power spectrum and characteristic spectrum characteristics of clutter are analyzed.2.The space-time adaptive processing method under the Frequency diverse array MIMO radar system is studied.In order to solve the range dependence of clutter on the space-time two-dimensional plane under the condition of non side-looking array,a clutter suppression method for frequency diverse array MIMO radar based on tangent derivative based updating(TDBU)and the secondary range dependence compensation(SRDC)is proposed.Frequency diverse array MIMO radar clutter suppression method,and compared with other clutter spectrum compensation methods such as doppler warping,derivative based updating and so on,the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.3.The range ambiguity clutter suppression method for frequency diverse array MIMO radar is studied.In order to solve the problem of range ambiguity clutter aliasing,the degree of freedom of the distance dimension of the frequency diverse array MIMO radar is used,and the clutter in range ambiguity regions is completely separated on the space-time two-dimensional plane using the the secondary range dependence compensation(SRDC),which overcomes the traditional The disadvantage of phased array radar is that it cannot distinguish range-ambiguity clutter.In order to solve the problem of high data dimension and large computational load of frequency diverse array MIMO radar,a reduced-dimension space-time adaptive processing method of frequency diverse array MIMO radar based on extended factored approach(EFA)is studied.And compared with the factored approach(FA)to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
