Multiple-input multiple-output antenna is an important part of wireless communication system.Multiple channels are composed of Input and Output antenna arrays, which can greatly improve channel capacity and have high reliability and fidelity in signal transmission. The application of 5G technology in industry and People's Daily life is becoming more and more extensive, and the requirements for large-scale MIMO antenna array are becoming more and more high.5G base station needs to set up more dense and integrate more transceiver antennas, and at the same time,it should also consider minimizing power consumption.5G mobile terminals should meet the communication requirements of more frequency bands in the complex electromagnetic environment, minimize the mutual coupling between antenna units and the influence of metal elements on MIMO antenna performance, and at the same time, carry out the miniaturization design of the antenna.Firstly, this paper introduces the research status of 5G technology at home and abroad, and conducts in-depth research and analysis on MIMO technology from the basic principles of implementation. In this paper,we focus on the existing decoupling technologies and related literatures to improve the isolation degree of MIMO antenna, the miniaturization of antenna element and the realization approaches of notch design.Three 5G MIMO antennas have been designed. The first study realizes the design of dual-band 5G MIMO antenna through multi-branch antenna.Based on the domestic mainstream application of 3.4-3.6ghz,4.8-5ghz two 5G bands, through the dual-band two-unit MIMO antenna based on monopole antenna and t-shaped floor branch decoupling to complete the design. The decoupling problem of 5G band antenna based on coupling feed open-slot antenna is studied.A two-port MIMO antenna is designed. Each antenna unit has the same structure. It is a dual-band 5G antenna based on an openslot antenna. The decoupling problem of double notch 5G MIMO antenna is studied.By slotted notch on the front branch of the antenna, and added branches on the back floor to achieve notch and decoupling, the design of dual-port dual-notch 5G MIMO antenna can be applied to 5G and WLAN frequency band communication.
