In recent years,there have been numerous bird strike events at airports.The research on bird detection radar target detection technology can help avoid the risk of bird strikes during the process of aircraft taking off and landing,effectively prevent bird strike events.And ensure the safety of aircraft flight while reducing the economic losses in the aviation industry.The thesis focuses on the research and FPGA implementation of the target detection technology of airport bird finder radar.By analyzing the micro-Doppler movement generated by the bird target during flight,the time-frequency map of the target is extracted,and the micro-motion features in the time-frequency map are used to detect the target.On this basis,the DP-TBD algorithm is combined with the fretting characteristics of bird targets to realize the detection and tracking of high-mobility weak targets such as birds,and use the FPGA platform to complete the detection and tracking.The realization of bird detection radar signal processing system.The main work of this thesis includes:1.Establish a bird target model based on micro-Doppler features,analyze the microDoppler features generated by bird wings and bird bodies during the movement of bird targets,and the influence of these features on radar echo changes with Doppler time.2.For the radar echo generated by the bird target model,use the STFT,CWD,and WVD to perform time-frequency analysis to extract the difference in the target flight process.The time-frequency map of the radar echo of the part is used for threshold detection and parameter estimation.Finally,the deep learning network is used to detect the target for the second time.Through simulation and theoretical analysis,it can be seen that compared with the other two methods,STFT detects Better performance.3.Based on the characteristics of "low,slow and small" during the movement of the bird target,the DP-TBD algorithm is applied to the bird target detection technology.And because the DP-TBD algorithm is suitable for the detection of uniform moving targets,and the flying bird target is a kind of high maneuvering target,the translation speed of the bird target estimated by the algorithm and the bird target detection method based on the micro-Doppler feature is calculated.combined to detect it.The traditional DP-TBD algorithm,the improved DP-TBD algorithm,the particle filter algorithm and the IMMEKF algorithm are simulated to detect and track the target.The simulation and theoretical analysis show that the improved DP-TBD algorithm has better performance.4.Based on the application background of bird target detection in the airport,the scheme design and hardware implementation of the bird detection radar signal processing system are carried out.The system is mainly divided into digital down-conversion,pulse compression,digital beamforming,moving target display and moving target detection,two-dimensional constant false alarm detection,range Doppler unit condensation,DPTBD and amplitude ratio angle measurement modules.The algorithm simulation and FPGA implementation of the system are carried out,the target distance,speed,azimuth and pitch information are obtained and theoretical analysis is carried out to verify the correctness of the bird detection system.In this thesis,by analyzing the micro-Doppler motion of bird targets,two kinds of bird target detection algorithms are studied,and on this basis,the hardware implementation and verification of the bird detection radar signal processing system are carried out.
