Since the traditional Ethernet technology was proposed in 1973,in a short period of time,with its high transmission bandwidth,wide openness and scalability,it quickly achieved an advantageous position in the IT field and became the most widely used communication protocol standards.However,with the development of the era,the advantages of Ethernet no longer dominate in many fields,such as industrial control,audio and video transmission,and in-vehicle networks.The unreliability and non-real-time nature of Ethernet have become the industry development constraints.The Time Sensitive Network(TSN)protocol cluster proposed by the IEEE802.1 task group makes up for the shortcomings of traditional Ethernet.TSN is a group of communication protocol clusters based on the second layer.It effectively puts forward solutions to the problems of low latency,reliability,traffic scheduling and shaping in the process of data transmission in Ethernet.The application demand of TSN is also increasing day by day,and the development of communication equipment based on TSN has also become the current hot direction.The main research direction of this thesis is the design of FPGA-based TSN node cards.The implemented TSN protocols include: 802.1AS protocol to ensure time synchronization between nodes,802.1Qbv protocol for scheduling and traffic shaping for different services,and802.1CB protocol for the reliability of communication between nodes.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1.Researching and analyzing the 802.1AS protocol,802.1Qbv protocol and802.1CB protocol of the TSN protocol suite;2.Proposing a design scheme of TSN node card based on FPGA,realizing TSN related features and algorithms,and passing simulation verification;3.After the on-site environment test and analysis,it is ensured that the node cards can be scheduled and transmitted under the conditions of sub-microsecond time synchronization and dual-link redundancy for different services in accordance with the data frame format specified by the protocol standard.
