The main content of the thesis is UWB antenna based on time domain pulse location.In terms of communication and positioning,UWB technology has the wonderful future because of its advanteges such as strong antijamming capability,low power consumption and strong penetration ability.As the transceiver device at the front end of the system,UWB antenna has great influence on the application of UWB technology.The research of the thesis mainly based on its positioning and communication applications,introduces the basic principle of UWB antenna and study UWB antenna in different angle,including broadband,the band-notched of UWB antenna,omnidirectional radiation characteristics,high gain,etc.Four UWB antennas used in UWB position and communication system including three UWB antenna arrays are designed in the thesis:1.An ultra-wideband planar monopole antenna with double band-notched characteristics is proposed.The antenna size is 34mm×27mm×0.508mm and works in the frequency band range of 2.98-11GHz.The method of add slots on the metal surface was used to study the characteristics of its band-botch.It can achieve band-notch in the commercial 5G communication frequency range of China(3.4-3.6GHz,4.8-4.9GHz),which can effectively avoid mutual interference between UWB communication system and 5G communication system,with the peak gain up to 5.3d Bi.2.Two kinds of UWB dipole array antennas are proposed.The parallel UWB array antenna is a binary array,which can cover the frequency band range of8.54-10.42GHz.The tandem dipole array antenna is a ternary linear array operating at9.04-10.10GHz.It can achieve omnidirectional radiation while achieving a beam upward tilt of about 10°,with a peak gain of 6.5d Bi.In the thesis,the performance of the two kinds of antennas are compared,and the advantages,disadvantages and selection principles are analyzed.3.A high gain array antenna with beam downdip characteristic working in X-band based on resonant cavity structure is proposed.The antenna adopts double-layer dielectric plate structure and the overall size is 118.8mm×35mm×2.508mm.The antenna works in the frequency band range of 8.50-10.30GHz,with a peak gain of12.6d Bi at the center frequency of 9.5GHz,and the main beam tilts upward by about10°,for achieve horizontal radiation under the condition of installat on inclined plane.Four cavity gap antenna elements are used in this antenna,which are arranged in a linear array,and the resonators work in TE102 mode.
