With the rapid development of science and technology and laser technology,laser weapons are widely used in the battlefield because of their strong destructive power and power.at present,the main application band in the military field is 500nm?1600nm wavelength laser.According to the principle,laser warning instrument can be divided into spectral recognition type,coherent recognition type,scattering detection type and holographic detection type.The laser warning systems with different working principles have their own characteristics.The grating diffraction laser warning system can measure the data of wavelength,azimuth and pitch angle,and has high resolution,simple process and low cost.Grating diffraction laser warning system is a more effective laser warning system.Based on the requirements of high-precision and wide-band,this paper builds a grating diffraction laser warning system for image acquisition and data processing.Firstly,through the research on the structure and working principle of the grating diffraction laser warning system and the laser spot center positioning algorithm,a high-precision and wide-band grating diffraction laser warning system is studied,which can detect 500nm?1600nm,95 °horizontal and 70 ° vertical in the field of view;Secondly,the design of real-time image acquisition and transmission system is studied.The method adopted is that the field programmable gate array(FPGA)chip controls the detector and the analog to digital converter(ADC)collects images in real time,The external memory interface(EMIF)transmits the image data to the digital signal process(DSP)for image processing,and then designs the data communication program to realize the real-time transmission of image data;Then,according to the characteristics of the image spot,the transmitted image data is preprocessed to effectively suppress the background interference signal,correct the distortion and extract the target spot;At last,the spot image is relatively regular,and the gray center of gravity method,which is fast in time and accurate in calculating the spot center close to the circle,is used to extract the target spot center value and then calculate the incident laser information.The causes of the error are analyzed and the algorithm is optimized to achieve the azimuth error of 0.25 ° and the elevation error of 0.35 °.In this paper,combined with the diffraction characteristics of grating and the domestic processing level,a high-precision and wide-band laser warning system is designed and built under the use of one system and one detector.According to the imaging characteristics of the target spot,the collected image is preprocessed to extract the target spot and calculate the center,and the laser parameters are obtained.Combined with the system to fit the laser parameter data,the low direction angle error data is obtained.The accuracy of laser direction recognition is greatly improved.
