Due to the complexity of the infrared imaging system and the limitation of the manufacturing process of the detector focal plane readout circuit,the infrared imaging system has the inherent defects of narrow dynamic range and weak contrast.In order to improve the adaptability of the imaging system to the scene with wide dynamic range,the acquisition of high dynamic range infrared images by infrared image fusion technology has become one of the important research contents in the field of infrared imaging.The improvement of infrared performance parameter testing technology is of great significance to the development and application of infrared imaging technology.In this paper,based on the medium-wave refrigerated infrared detector of CETC 11 research Institute,the infrared fusion imaging technology is studied to improve the dynamic range of the infrared imaging system.Through the research and application of infrared testing technology,the performance and imaging effect of infrared imaging system are quantitatively analyzed and evaluated.The main research contents are as follows:1)Aiming at the defect of weak contrast of infrared image,this paper proposes an improved CLAHE algorithm based on neighborhood conditional histogram and Sobel detail enhancement,which effectively avoids excessive amplification of noise in background areas and the appearance of block effect,improves image contrast and sharpness,and enriches image edge details.2)Aiming at the defect of infrared imaging with narrow dynamic range,a Laplace-pyramid fusion algorithm based on multi-scale detail compensation was proposed.The multi-scale fusion strategy is adopted to fuse the sub-frames under different integration time into a highdynamic range image,so as to better retain the detailed information of the image and improve dynamic range effectively3)Completing the hardware system design and software platform construction of the infrared imaging system,and complete the hardware implementation of relevant algorithms.The infrared dynamic range evaluation model and testing method are proposed.By testing relevant performance parameters,the performance and dynamic range imaging effect of the system are quantitatively analyzed and evaluated.According to the test results of the final output image and related performance parameters,it is verified that the system can meet the requirements of high dynamic range imaging.
