In the With the continuous progress of technology in modern times,mobile communication technology has developed to the 5G era.5G technology includes sub-6GHz band and millimeter wave band.The millimeter band can achieve 400 Mbps bandwidth and 20 Gbps peak speed,attracting the attention of the industry.Antenna is the radiating and receiving device of radio waves.5G millimeter wave antenna technology is a hot issue of wireless communication technology in recent years.Dielectric resonator antennas have attracted wide attention because of their advantages of low loss,high quality factor and high radiation efficiency.This paper aims to build a high gain and high performance dielectric resonator antenna that can be applied in millimeter wave band.Several dielectric resonator antennas applied in millimeter wave band are realized based on the substrate integrated structure,coupled groove structure and stacked structure.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)The effects of feeding mode,working mode and coupling mechanism on the input impedance and radiation characteristics of dielectric resonator antenna are compared.The method to realize circular polarization of dielectric resonator antenna,the excitation technology of circular polarization field in dielectric resonator,such as single point feed,multi-point feed and sequential rotation technology,etc.(2)Three types of cylindrical dielectric resonator antennas are designed: substrate integrated cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna,microstrip coupled T-groove dielectric resonator antenna and stacked substrate integrated cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna.The antennas can work in millimeter wave band.(3)Design two types of rectangular dielectric resonator antennas: substrate-based integrated rectangular dielectric resonator antenna and stack-based integrated rectangular dielectric resonator antenna.The antenna works in 37-43.5GHz millimeter wave planning band,and the stacked structure can improve the gain of the antenna on the original antenna structure.
