Traditional culture is an important pillar of the Chinese nation and the most precious history handed down by the Chinese people so far.Digital media is not only the trend of modern development,but also an important way to export foreign culture.In this emerging era,it is an indispensable undertaking to show Chinese traditional elements,historical experience and world outlook to all countries through the digital situation,The development of digital media has a subtle impact on human thinking,behavior and three outlooks,and also promotes the development of the economic field.The strong impact from digital media also promotes the consumption industry and manufacturing industry.Combining this industry,which has a profound impact on the development of the whole world,with Chinese traditional elements,and blending,influencing and absorbing each other at all levels,will form a multi-source and multi-level culture,which can enrich the experience of Chinese original painting design and drive the birth of new ideas of digital media.The historical experience of game design in China is still shallow,but China's traditional culture has a history of 5000 years.If we can use Chinese traditional elements freely in character design,it can not only bring rich cultural connotation,but also form a unique artistic form.Only by inheriting and developing the traditional culture,continuously innovating while inheriting,and inheriting the traditional essence in innovation,can we form a new form of digital media with unique national characteristics in our country.In recent years,through the hard work of designers,many excellent role designs have broken through the ground,and a large number of excellent cases provide an opportunity for this study.Character design,also known as "character design" character design,or character setting(hereinafter referred to as "human design"),mainly carries out specific assembly and design for the form,shape,character and other forms of characters.Design is the basis of creating a beautiful image.The development of a country and nation,the growth of economy and the level of civilization are mainly reflected in people's attention to beauty.Shakespeare once said,"even if we don't speak,our past experience will be exposed from clothing and posture".With the growth and improvement of China's economy,more and more social activities are concerned by people,and the first impression is usually determined by what we see.How to express the excellent internal civilization with a beautiful and pleasing image is a problem facing the society now.Therefore,the market is calling for talents with high professional quality to enhance the creativity of traditional elements in this regard.The research object of this paper is based on the design of domestic game characters.Firstly,it makes a traceability analysis on the setting background,customs,clothing accessories,color and shape of characters.Then combine the traditional elements with it to verify the cultural connection between role design and traditional elements.Finally,through the systematic classification of traditional elements,we can contact and analyze the role design,and explore the artistic characteristics of traditional elements in role design.
