With the development and progress of blockchain technology,the number of blockchain technology platforms continues to increase,and the number of blockchain applications continues to increase,which brings about the needs for interaction and value circulation between different blockchain platform applications.Cross-chain is an important technology to realize the interconnection and intercommunication between different chains,and it has received extensive attention in recent years.At present,the main cross-chain technical solutions include hash lock,notary mechanism,side chain/relay chain and distributed secret key.When designing and implementing a cross-chain solution,issues such as data transmission performance,privacy and security,atomicity and transactionality should be considered.Among them,data transmission performance is a very important part of a cross-chain solution,and an important indicator to measure the pros and cons of a cross-chain solution.However,there are few researches on data transmission performance evaluation of cross-chain solutions,and there is no comprehensive data transmission performance evaluation index and method for cross-chain solutions.This research focuses on the data transmission performance evaluation of the cross-chain solution,designs and constructs an index system and method for comprehensively evaluating the data transmission performance of the cross-chain solution,and implements an evaluation system for the actual cross-chain application in the actual cross-chain solution.The choice provides an effective reference.The main innovations of this research are as follows:(1)This paper proposes an index system and index acquisition method for evaluating data transmission performance of cross-chain solutions.This indicator system can reflect the performance of cross-chain solutions in multiple dimensions.The index acquisition method is flexible and expandable,and supports access to different cross-chain solutions for data transmission performance evaluation.(2)This paper proposes a comprehensive evaluation method for the data transmission performance of the cross-chain scheme based on the above-mentioned performance index system.This method uses the AHP analytic hierarchy process to compare cross-chain schemes,and can compare the cross-chain schemes with the best data transmission performance.(3)Based on the above-mentioned index acquisition method and comprehensive evaluation method,a cross-chain program data transmission performance evaluation system was designed and implemented,with functions including blockchain management,smart contract access,test case design,and performance evaluation.At the same time,use this system to design a large number of test cases around the existing cross-chain implementation schemes in the industry,carry out data transmission performance evaluation,obtain performance data results and conduct comparative analysis.
