With the continuous progress of society and the continuous development of economy,China is increasing investment in infrastructure construction.At the same time,there are many safety accidents,which not only caused property losses,but also endangered the safety of people's lives.Under such background,how to monitor the safety and health of these infrastructure and natural geological environment has become a hot topic.Distributed optical fiber sensing technology(DOFS)has the advantages of large monitoring range,continuous distribution,monitoring a variety of environmental physical parameters,anti electromagnetic interference,anti-corrosion,high application safety and little damage to the monitored object.The application prospect of the safety monitoring of infrastructure and geological environment is very broad.According to the different optical signals used,there are many types of DOFS,but each kind of DOFS can only measure one or two environmental parameters.For example,the optical time domain reflectometer based on Raman scattering,namely ROTDR,can only monitor the temperature change along the optical fiber.The safety and health monitoring of infrastructure and geological environment requires that DOFS can adapt to the complex working environment,monitor the temperature,strain,vibration and other physical parameters at the same time,and accurately judge the potential safety hazards.Therefore,in the complex working condition,it is necessary to use types of DOFS,and a control platform which can communicate and interact with DOFS and can make correct response is very important.The control platform can not only make comprehensive judgment according to a variety of physical parameters,but also get more accurate and comprehensive abnormal condition judgment information.It is more convenient for operators to manage different lines and improve the convenience of operation.In view of the above requirements,this dissertation designs and builds a set of distributed optical fiber sensing system control platform.The control platform includes three parts:platform control software,database and device terminal software.:1.The platform control software and device terminal software are programmed by Lab VIEW.The platform control software can real-time display the physical parameter data along the optical fiber collected by the three types of DOFS device terminals,including ROTDR,BOTDR and Phi-OTDR,and display the change trend of environmental parameters;it can modify the operating parameters of the device terminal,and receive feedback and warning information.2.The database part is built by MySQL,which will store the instructions sent by the platform control software and the physical parameter data,feedback and warning information uploaded by the device terminal software.3.The device terminal software is programmed by Lab VIEW,includes two different types of DOFS device:ROTDR and BOTDR,which can control the the laser,acquisition card and other optoelectronic devices of the DOFS device,collect and process relevant data,generate feedback or warning information,and upload the data,feedback and warning information to the database.After designing and building this control platform system,the experiment is carried out under the laboratory conditions.It proves that the control platform is feasible,it can accurately control different types of DOFS device,receive various data and information returned,and accurately reflect the changes of physical parameters on each line.In summary,the distributed optical fiber sensing system control platform proposed in this dissertation can communicate and control different types of device terminal.And it provides a set of feasible solutions for the complex health and safety monitoring of infrastructure and geological environment,which sensor system using various types of DOFS terminal devices.
