Bluetooth technology is a commonly used technology in the construction of personal local area network.The basic network topology of Bluetooth is called piconet.Scatternet is composed of several piconet by sharing some nodes.In the scatternet,one node only can belongs to a specific piconet at the same time.The application of the scatternet extends the use of Bluetooth technology,such as one-to-multi Bluetooth audio transmission.In a one-to-multi Bluetooth audio transmission scenario,audio receiving devices as bridge nodes need to periodically join the piconets with each audio source device as the main device.Switching piconets frequently will not only cause a waste of communication resources,but also cause the audio transmission asynchronization.In this paper,combined with the characteristics of Bluetooth scattering network and one-to-multi Bluetooth audio transmission scenarios,the main focus is on the utilization of time slot resources when bridge nodes in Bluetooth scatternet are switched from one piconet to another piconet.How to reduce the waste of communication resources caused by switching piconet is studied,and a method for efficient utilization of communication resources is designed and implemented.This paper presents a new scheduling algorithm for piconets switching with priority,which incorporates the signal strength discrimination for the main device in the switching piconets.Bridge nodes collect and analyze parameters such as signal strength,transmission power,link quality,etc.as one of the criteria for selecting piconets,and then uses queuing theory as the theoretical basis.A non-preemptive queue system model with priority in one-to-multi audio transmission scenarios is established.The related indexes of the model,such as average queue length,average wait time,average wait length and average stay time,are analyzed.Based on this model,a piconet switching scheduling algorithm is applied.Finally,a scattering network simulation model is constructed using Matlab.The time delay,packet loss rate and bandwidth utilization of the algorithm are simulated and analyzed in the form of random generated packets,and the corresponding simulation results are obtained to verify the rationality of the algorithm.Overall,the algorithm proposed in this paper distinguishes the differences of signal strength between different piconets.It not only guarantees the quality of service of high priority business packets,but also guarantees the transmission rate of business packets when the signal is weak,and achieves efficient utilization of communication resources.
