At present,the insurance service industry has problems such as information asymmetry,high industry fraud risks,and high management costs.These problems restrict the rapid development of the insurance industry.Blockchain has the characteristics of decentralization,information transparency,and data traceability.It can be one of the solutions to the pain points of the insurance industry.This article first summarizes the basic concepts,core technologies and research status of blockchain technology,including blockchain data structures,hash algorithms,elliptic curve encryption algorithms,and various consensus mechanisms.At the same time,the main risks of data storage in the insurance industry are analyzed,the main idea of applying blockchain technology to the insurance industry is proposed,and gave a brief overview and introduction to the main application platform Hyperledger Fabric of the alliance chain.Then combine the non-tamperable,traceable,and decentralized characteristics of the blockchain,a blockchain-based insurance information data storage scheme is proposed,and blockchain technology is applied to the protection of data privacy in the insurance industry.And then analyze the proposed data storage plan,in order to solve the problems of efficiency caused by storing all data on the chain,an implementation scheme of on-chain + off-chain dual storage is proposed,which can improve the storage and query efficiency of the platform.According to the business scenarios of the insurance industry,a blockchain-based insurance industry information platform system architecture is designed to provide support for the proposed data storage scheme.Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance algorithm,an improved method of practical Byzantine fault-tolerant algorithm is proposed,and designed the execution flow of the improved algorithm.Finally,a prototype system was implemented based on the designed system architecture and tested.The experimental results show that the storage scheme proposed in this paper has good feasibility and has certain application scenarios for data protection in the insurance service industry.
