With the advent of the information age,more and more intelligent terminal equipment and switching nodes have appeared in various fields of society.The types of network services have gradually diversified,and the scale of the network has expanded,which has brought new challenges to network switching technology.At present,high-tech fields such as satellite communications,smart cars,remote control,and automation industries have put forward new requirements for large-scale service transmission.Traditional Ethernet using CSMA/CD technology can no longer meet its requirements for real-time and reliability.However,the existing TTE/TSN network mainly completes port switching without time slice displacement conversion,so centralized routing planning must be adopted,which is not suitable widely used on a large scale.The new converged network supports time slice movement,and is suitable for large-scale applications on the basis of improving the real-time performance of service transmission,thus effectively coping with the above-mentioned challenges.Relying on the scientific research project "Hybrid Switching Technology and Deterministic Transmission Mechanism in Converged Networks",we divide the switching plane into TT plane and ET plane,and focuse on designing and implementing the ET plane of the new converged network switch.First of all,the thesis introduces the research background and gives an overview of the new converged network.Second,the overall design of the new converged network switch is introduced,and the data frame format,service mechanism and data forwarding workflow are described.Third,design and implement the input/output modules of the new converged network switch,including the RGMII interface module,MAC IP module,input dispatching module and output aggregation module.Fourth,design and implement the key modules in the ET plane of the new converged network switch,including the input polling module,the receiving control module,the forwarding processing module,the cross-node module,and the flow shaping module.Finally,building a simulation verification and a board-level test platform,the input/output modules and modules in ET plane are partially verified.The test results show that the input/output modules and the ET plane are designed correctly and meet the design requirements.The innovation points of the thesis are: first,the proposed new converged network supports time slice movement of TT services,adopts distributed routing planning,which simplifies the complexity of network routing planning,and provides technical support for the large-scale application and expansion of deterministic networks.Second,the input/output modules complete the dispatching and aggregation of different services,and support frame preemption,which ensures the priority transmission of TT/EET services.Third,the key modules of ET plane support the forwarding processing of EET/RC/BE services,and the flow shaping function is at the output position of the ET plane,which realizes the mixed transmission of several different event-triggered service.
