Intelligent embedded terminal like intelligent mobile terminals and intelligent wearable devices have gradually affected people's way of life,and with the development of Internet of Things technology and the gradual popularization of intelligent devices,smart devices have gradually become the source of user data and the main platform for processing user data.So,the security problems of these devices have been related to all aspects of people's life.Actually,most of these smart hardwares are embedded devices.More and more criminals attack embedded devices for their own benefits.Therefore,the research on side channel attack and its defence methods are helpful to reduce the security risk of embedded devices and provide the security for the privacy information of users.It has great significance.Firstly,this thesis introduced the simple power analysis(SPA),the differential power analysis(DPA)and the correlation power analysis(CPA),and then proposed the hybrid denoising correlation power analysis method to solve the problem that CPA is greatly affected by the noise in the collected power data.This thesis used Butterworth low-pass filter to preprocess the power data,and then used empirical mode decomposition(EMD)of wavelet threshold denoising method for more meticulous filtering,and also used the improved hamming weight model to calculate the power matrix.Finally,the experimental results showed that the proposed method can effectively improve the attack efficiency by comparing with other methods.At the same time,the defense of embedded device side channel attack is studied in this thesis.Most of the current side channel attack defense methods only defend the common attack points of encryption algorithm.In order to protect encryption algorithm better,a random mask based side channel attack defense method is proposed.First,the S-box of AES algorithm is divided into two to form a dual path,and then different random masks are set on the two sub-paths and the main path respectively to realize the defense method which has dual path and dual mask and the defense scope of this method covers all the operations.Finally,the power analysis attack experiment proves that the method can resist side channel attack effectively.In order to facilitate researchers and practitioners in related fields,in this thesis a side channel attack test system which is composed of software and hardware is designed and implemented.This system can realize the test of power analysis and test fault injection attacks for encryption algorithms on various embedded devices,and it also can acquire power data,make attack analysis in real time,display the collected curve and analysis results visually.It can facilitate the learning and testing of researchers in related fields.
