| In recent years,computer application technology is booming,but different types of computer applications have different requirements for memory.At present,the two mainstream hybrid memory systems can only meet the memory requirements of specific types of applications.The parallel DRAM-NVM hybrid memory architecture can make full use of NVM capacity,and is suitable for applications that are insensitive to latency and sensitive to main memory capacity,such as big data related applications.Hierarchical DRAM-NVM hybrid memory architecture can cache frequently accessed data,which is suitable for delay sensitive and memory insensitive applications,such as Internet related applications.The reconfigurable hybrid memory architecture based on RISC-Ⅴ,aiming at the local access characteristics of upper application,comprehensively considering the performance,power consumption and durability of different storage media of hybrid memory,realizes the dynamic reconfiguration between parallel architecture and hierarchical architecture,and meets the different internal storage requirements of various types of applications.In order to improve the efficiency of memory system,cache alternative strategies based on multi-level queue and Major Element Algorithm(MEA)are designed.The former uses multi-level queue to set the hot cache pages to different priority,so as to ensure the system makes full use of cache.The latter uses MEA,which not only takes into account the data access frequency and time locality,but also reduces the hardware overhead.In addition,the reconfigurable hybrid memory architecture based on RISC-Ⅴ provides the configuration interface of the application layer,and the application can customize the hierarchical ratio of DDR / NVM to enhance the scalability of the system.The experimental results show that compared with the traditional memory system used in the Low RISC project,the RISC-Ⅴ-based reconfigurable hybrid memory system can run smoothly,and has certain system scalability,with good performance and an average performance increase of 43%. |
