The development trend of miniaturization and monolithic millimeter-wave radar has made its application prospect more and more broad.In the close-range and blind vision scene,the use of millimeter-wave radar for high-resolution imaging is of great significance.By studying the millimeter-wave radar wavenumber domain planar aperture imaging algorithm,combined with the array antenna channel error estimation,a MIMO-SAR imaging method based on TI(Texas Instruments)monolithic millimeter-wave radar is proposed,and the millimeter-wave radar planar aperture imaging platform is completed.Firstly,to introduce the millimeter-wave radar wave number domain planar aperture imaging algorithm using the plane scanning motion model and signal model.The principle and processing flow of the planar aperture imaging algorithm are introduced.The theoretical analysis of the imaging rate is carried out and then give the quantitative evaluation index of the imaging effect.The point target and the plane target are simulated and analyzed separately,and on the basis of the plane target simulation,the effect of mechanical motion error on the imaging effect is analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for the design of the scanning motion platform.Secondly,in order to solve the problem of time-consuming plane scanning,combined with TI millimeter wave radar MIMO antenna array,a MIMO-SAR imaging algorithm is introduced and verified the effectiveness by emulating.The multi-channel combined processing of spatially undersampled data is used to achieve the imaging effect of full-sampled data.In order to solve the problem that the channel error found in the simulation analysis has a great influence on the imaging effect,an array error compensation algorithm based on iterative estimation is introduced,and the algorithm simulation is performed to effectively eliminate image extension and aliasing caused by spatial undersampling.Finally,the software and hardware of the imaging platform were built.The hardware architecture of the imaging platform is designed,and the design and implementation of the motion scanning platform is completed.Based on TI millimeter wave radar(AWR1243)and data acquisition card(DCA1000),the configuration software module was written,and the corresponding software module was written for the joint control of scanning motion and data acquisition.On the experimental platform,SAR and MIMO-SAR experiments were carried out and the experimental results were analyzed,which can achieve planar two-dimensional high resolution imaging.
