Craniofacial restoration and reconstruction technology has great research value and significance in the field of criminal investigation,archaeology and medicine.This paper proposes to realize the research on craniofacial restoration and reconstruction based on the curve regression model.The main innovations and research work are as follows:1.The paper proposes skull restoration based on radial curve and least squares support vector regression;The radial curve extracted from the skull is used as the training sample data to construct the regression model of the radial curve of the skull.Through the regression model,the relationship between the radial curve to be repaired and the existing radial curve is obtained,and the radial curve of the missing part is restored,and then the complete model of the missing skull is restored according to the statistical model of the skull.Compared with the results of principal component analysis(PCA),least squares regression and partial least squares regression,the results show that the error value of the restored results based on radial curve and least squares support vector regression model is smaller,the restoration effect of regression statistical model based on radial curve and least squares support vector regression is better than that of other methods.2.The paper proposes craniofacial reconstruction based on geodesic regression model;The geodesic regression model takes the geodesic extracted from the skull and face as the training data,uses the geodesic regression model to obtain the corresponding relationship between the skull and geodesic,and then reconstructs the geodesic of the corresponding face of the unknown skull according to the corresponding relationship,and finally estimates the face of the unknown skull according to the geodesic obtained.Comparing the reconstruction results of geodesic regression model with PCA,partial least squares regression and radial regression,the comparison results show that the error value of reconstruction results based on geodesic regression model is smaller,which indicates that the reconstruction method based on geodesic regression is better than the other three methods.3.The paper proposes craniofacial reconstruction based on geodesic and least square support vector regression;The least squares support vector regression model of skull and geodesic is established by taking the skull and geodesic of face as training data.According to the relationship between unknown skull and support vector regression model,the unknown skull corresponding to geodesic of human face is reconstructed,and then the face of unknown skull is further estimated.Compared with PCA and partial least squares regression,the results show that the error value of the reconstruction results based on the geodesic least squares support vector regression model is smaller,which indicates that the proposed reconstruction method is better than the other methods.In this paper,geodesic regression and geodesic least squares support vector regression are introduced to promote the development of computer-aided craniofacial technology and its wide application.
