The Bluetooth Mesh network is a multi-to-many,centerless wireless topology network proposed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. To communicate in a Bluetooth Mesh network,a flooding mechanism is used. However,in the network with high density of nodes, there will be a lot of redundant packets, resulting in channel congestion and collision. When there are mobile nodes in the Mesh network,it will aggravate the problem of packet loss. Therefore,it is significance to design and implement an appropriate routing algorithm to solve the problems of packet loss and delay in the Bluetooth Mesh network with mobile nodes. In this thesis, based on the Managed-Flooding mechanism,a Dynamic Probabilistic Flooding(DP-Flooding)is proposed. It introduced the dynamic probabilistic broadcasting algorithm, the heartbeat mechanism and the mobile node broadcasting mechanism. The relay node calculates the probability by the RSSI from the packets at first, then it amends the probability by the neighborhood information from the heartbeat mechanism and the mobile node broadcasting mechanism,at last,it confirms the probability by the mobile nodes information.Through the dynamic probabilistic broadcasting algorithm, the redundant data packets and message collisions are reduced, which effectively reduces the packet loss and the delay in the Mesh network caused by the mobile nodes. This thesis implements the DP-Flooding routing protocol on the embedded development platform of Nordic's n RF52832 Bluetooth chip, and then builds a Bluetooth Mesh network for real test and analysis.According to the analysis, the end-to-end delay in Mesh network is less than 220 ms,and the packet loss rate in Mesh network is less than 4%,which reaching the expected design index. The research results of this thesis are valuable for the application and extension of the Bluetooth Mesh.
