Color is the most effective information coding method in interface applications.The form of color significant layers mapping information layers can help users quickly identify information and improve cognitive efficiency.This article focuses on the impact of color-size feature integration on visual perception in the process of color application,and explores the boundaries of area change visual salience.The purpose is to overcome the limitation of cognitive capacity of 7±2 and ensure users to efficiently identify target information,and to provide support for expanding the range of color coding and playing the leading role of color.Based on the color saliency levels divided by the previous scholars,the research in this paper is mainly from three aspects:First,the adjustment method is used to study the threshold data when the color difference of each level is just noticeable,and the minimum identifiable area of each color is obtained through performance analysis.Second,on the basis of the identifiable area of color,the effect of the area of color on the visual capture is explored through the experiment of the limit method,the limit of the area affecting the priority of visual capture is obtained,and reasonable color selection and area matching suggestions are proposed.Third,the experimental results are applied to the visual elements of the monitoring interface.Based on the differentiated design of high-level small-area color and low-level large-area color,this study analyzes the reaction time and correctness rate when encoding target information,and verifies that the low-level color and the high-level color have the same saliency under a specific significant area ratio;By analyzing the reaction time and visual track of the high-level smallarea target object with or without interference,the impact of the change in the area of low-level color on the transmission efficiency of high-level information is determined,and the effectiveness of perception strength of each color in the level obtained by behavior experiments is further verified.This article obtains the area ratio of the visual perception intensity between color levels,constructs a reasonable color-area matching system,helps visual design to lay the foundation of the functional swatch system,provides color selection basis for color applications of different types of information,and supplies users with efficient and accurate information recognition.
