With the development of mobile communication and the Internet,the 5th Generation Mobile Networks(hereinafter referred to as "5G")standard has been constantly evolving.China has officially entered the first year of 5G commercial use in 2019.5G network relies on its characteristic of higher rate,lower latency,lower power consumption etc,increasing mobile broadband users at home and abroad by providing the more efficient and more convenient mobile data services of ultra reliable and low latency communication gradually,massive machine type communication,enhance moblie broadboand.The 5G network in Kunming is in the initial stage of base station planning and construction.According to its network characteristics and construction mode,how to do a good job in 5G network planning,design and engineering practice is the key.First of all,this thesis expounds the key technologies and characteristics of 5G,analyzes the application of 5G network in different scenarios,and analyzes the primary goal and key problems of5 G network construction based on the actual needs of Kunming in hot business districts,parks and other high-traffic hot spots.Subsequently,this thesis expounds the engineering practice methods of5 G network planning and design from two dimensions of continuous coverage and depth coverage.In terms of continuous coverage,this thesis will select a small area and combine the existing 4G physical site resources of China Mobile to realize the rapid deployment of 5G network at a lower cost.At the same time,according to the coverage situation after the actual site reuse,the supplementary point construction of 5G network was carried out,the basic coverage planning of 5G network was improved,and the "reusability and supplementary point" planning method was iterated to the whole city.In addition,after the basic coverage planning,this thesis will also carry out simulation test and verification through the simulation software,fine-tune the theoretical planning,and make full preparations for the pilot construction.In terms of deep coverage,in the optimization process after the completion of planning and the implementation of the pilot construction of continuous coverage,we also encountered problems such as the mutual interference between 5G network and 4G network in D-band,and the reverse construction of 4G network by 5G new sites.Clearing the frequency,defrequency and other work to remove most obstacles for 5G coverage;By adjusting the power and coverage,the problem of 4G and 5G adjacent frequency interference is solved.By adjusting the azimuth angle,downdip Angle and transmitting power of the macro station,the interference between the macro station and the indoor distribution system is reduced and eliminated.Through research analysis and engineering practice,the methodology of upgrading existing site and complementing cover has been proven to be effective on the construction of 5G network after the demonstration of technical characteristics of outdoor continuous cover,planning,simulation and verified the actual site,it also makes the construction of 5G network outdoor continuous cover of business circle and the continuous coverage of urban main road and park becomes more efficient and faster in Kunming.In addition,through the simulation of the coverage effect of two implementation schemes of deep coverage in the actual case A,the design ideas for the design scheme of deep coverage of large buildings are proposed.Finally,the feasibility and effectiveness of "2232" interference elimination method are effectively verified through the actual optimization of the current network in case B,aiming at the same-frequency interference problem in the collaborative construction of 4G and 5G.Through scientific analysis and engineering practice,this thesis successfully realized beneficial exploration for 5G network construction in the early stage,which has certain theoretical guidance.
