With the continuous deepening and development of Internet information technology, the online research community, which aims to meet the needs of researchers’ exchange and knowledge sharing, has ushered in a greater development opportunity. The online research community can provide users with the function of literature management and group communication to realize literature classification and build personal interpersonal relationship. In recent years, there is a phenomenon of low user participation and user loss in online scientific research communities, which makes some online scientific research communities face the dilemma of losing users. Therefore, the key to the development of online scientific research community is to enhance user stickness and stimulate users’ continuous participation.Taking online research community Citeulike as the research object, this paper explores the influencing factors of users’ continuous participation in online research communities. In this study, the continuous participation behavior of users in Citeulike was represented by the duration of the users’ annotation of the literature. The survival analysis method was used to study the online research community’s own functions(i.e.,annotation function and social function)and the user’s behavior after the adoption of the community. At the same time,it analyzes the differences of users’ continuous participation behavior in different disciplines. In this paper, the number of labeled literatures in the scientific research community and the number of journals to which the labeled literatures belong correspond to the labeling function. The social function was measured by the number of users joining the group, the number of group members, and the time group members were active in the community. The behavior of users after community adoption is characterized by initial user participation, frequent user use and stability of user participation. The research results show that the online research community function itself, annotation of document number, number of periodical literature belong to,online research community users join in the group number of users continue to participate in online research community has significant positive influence, and the number of users join in the group member has a significant negative influence on user participation persistent; In terms of behavior after community adoption, users’ frequency of use and participation stability have a significant positive impact on users’ continuous participation in the online scientific research community, while users’ initial participation has a significant negative impact on the continuity of users’ participation. In addition, the duration of continuous participation of users in economics and management subjects is significantly lower than that of users in biochemistry and engineering subjects.
