Ultraviolet spectrum detection technology is widely used in aerospace,military,industrial and agricultural production and other fields.When the parameter design of the optical system of the spectrum detection instrument is solidified,it's sensitivity and detection speed mainly depend on the performance of the detector.But the sensitivity and detection speed of the instrument are contradictory.Therefore,when higher sensitivity is needed,it must be realized by extending the integration time.In order to give consideration to high detection sensitivity and high detection speed,realize the high-speed detection under the condition of weak ultraviolet radiation,the paper proposes a ultraviolet spectrum detection method using UV ICCD as the detector.The dark current of the ultraviolet image intensifier working in the external photoelectric effect at room temperature is 10-2?10-3p A/cm2,it's 3?4 orders of magnitude lower than the dark current of10p A/cm2 of solid-state detector,with single photon detection capability.However,due to many photoelectric and electro-optical conversion processes during its work,it's imaging process and noise generation mechanism are more complex than solid state detector.Therefore,this article focuses on the imaging process and noise characteristics of the UV ICCD,and obtains a method to improve the signal-to-noise ratio.Firstly,based on the working principle of ICCD,this paper analyzes the factors that reduce the image quality.Then,according to the application characteristics of spectral detection,the UV ICCD is assembled and imaging experiments are carried out.Through the analysis of the measured data,it is clear that the image noise of ICCD is random flicker noise and high brightness ion spot noise.Aiming at the characteristics of UV ICCD noise and comparing the classical noise reduction methods in spatio-temporal domain,a spatial integration noise reduction algorithm based on spatial one-way correlation of UV ICCD spectral images is proposed,which achieves random flicker noise and noise on the basis of a single frame image.Good removal of ion spot noise.The experimental results show that the use of the UV ICCD spectral detection system to image the uncollimated deuterium lamp at a distance of 5m can clearly identify the main wave peak under the condition of an integration time of 100?s.
