The boundary line of the river basin refers to the instantaneous boundary line between the fluctuating water surface and the beach in the river basin.The real-time monitoring of its position information plays a very important role in the automatic flow measurement of the river basin.In order to realize the automatic real-time visual recognition and positioning of the river basin boundary line when the river basin flow measurement platform measures the flow,the flow measurement points can be automatically arranged to achieve the goal of fully automatic flow measurement in the river basin.A method is proposed for real-time visual recognition of river boundary lines,and then the coordinate positioning of the recognized boundary lines is carried out and applied to the flow measurement point layout.In response to the actual flow measurement needs of the hydrological station,this project first built a video monitoring system to achieve the image acquisition of the research object;for the acquired image of the research object,Gaussian smoothing was used for preliminary noise reduction and image threshold segmentation.Binarization obtains a land and water binarization map,and performs edge feature enhancement processing on the binarization map based on the combination of seed region filling and morphological processing.Finally,edge detection is used to achieve real-time visual recognition of river boundary lines in a fuzzy state;Based on the extraction results of the river basin boundary line and the working principle of the on-site flow measurement platform,a positioning study is proposed;finally,the position of the river basin boundary line after positioning is applied in the flow measurement point layout work,which solves the current semi-automatic flow measurement The problems of low efficiency and large errors in the manual visual positioning of the waterfront line have laid a solid foundation for the realization of fully automated flow measurement and greatly reduced the investment of manpower and financial resources in the work of river basin flow measurement.The main work and results of this paper are as follows:(1)The establishment of a real-time monitoring system for river basin boundaries.In order to achieve the acquisition of the research object,this paper proposes to build a monitoring system based on the equipment of the hydrological flow measurement station,which mainly includes the selection of the camera,the positioning and installation of the camera on the flow measurement platform,the adjustment of the camera attitude and the power connection,etc.The video surveillance of the river boundary by the camera;then the wireless transmission function of two wireless bridges is used to transmit the video surveillance picture to the computer;finally,the image of the research object in this paper is successfully obtained through the video framing method.(2)Real-time visual recognition of river boundary lines.Method research and experimental analysis are carried out for real-time visual recognition of river boundaries.First,the research object is preprocessed to obtain a grayscale image with preliminary noise reduction,and then threshold segmentation is used for binarization to obtain a land and water binary image.On the basis of the binary image,seed filling is carried out to avoid the influence of the noise of the connected domain in the non-water body,and the edge features of the land and water boundary are continuous and clear through mathematical morphological operations.Finally,the classic edge detection operator is used to determine the river boundary.The line is extracted and further processed by morphology,and finally realizes the recognition of the water-land boundary of the river area.The experimental results show that this method can effectively identify the river boundary line under the complex interference of gravel,silt,river sand and other objects.(3)The location and application of river boundary line.According to the extraction results of the river basin boundary line,firstly,by analyzing the coordinate relationship among the river basin boundary line,the camera,and the current measurement platform,the location of the river basin boundary line is converted into the location of the current measurement platform;then in the world coordinate system Next,through the movement monitoring of the circulating ropeway made by the flow measuring platform,the positioning is carried out;then the positioning result of the flow measuring platform is reversed to solve the problem of locating the boundary line of the river basin;finally,the abscissa obtained from the positioning of the boundary line of the river basin is used to determine the current position.The width of the river basin is calculated,and the flow measurement points are evenly arranged in the flow measurement section.
