Research On Emotion Evaluation And Design In Mobile Scenario

This paper,by studying users' daily emotional experience through experiments in mobile scenes,attempts to clarify the relationship between subjective emotions and objective environment in personal mobile life scenes,thus providing data support and drive for future customized service design.Ecological Momentary Assessment(EMA)and The Day Reconstruction Method(DRM)are adopted in the research.In the mobile terminal application developed by ourselves,more than 1,000 hours of users' life scenes data are collected from the real-life environment of users.The users' life scenes data include users' personal background information,daily life scene tracking of a full week,master/objective scene data,scene spatiotemporal data,etc.After a close analysis of the subjective/objective emotional data of users in different scenarios,we find that:(1)People's subjective emotional state shows a relatively stable pattern in daily life scenarios;(2)Subjective emotional state is obviously affected by objective environmental conditions;(3)Under different life scenarios,the same subjective emotional state may be significantly correlated with different objective environmental conditions;(4)There is a dynamic regulatory relationship between objective environmental conditions and the subjective emotional state.Therefore,the emotional feature model,built based on personal mobile scene data,can provide help for scene recognition and service customization.According to the findings of the experiment,this paper designs a mobile application for personal emotions management and regulation,and proposes the following application design strategies for emotions recording and assessment:(1)Emotion scenarioization,that is,user emotions are classified and analyzed according to the scene;(2)Emotional visualization,that is,the continuous changes of users' emotional states should be represented through visual means to achieve emotional quantification;(3)Emotional tunability.In simple terms,it means to regulate users' emotions through recording emotional data,identifying emotional characteristics,and interacting with products in life scenes.In a word,emotion management mobile applications can easily record users' emotional states in daily life scenes,visually represent the fluctuation of users'emotions in different cycles or under different scenes,interact with products and equipment in life scenes and regulate environmental conditions,so as to mitigate and reduce uses' negative emotions and improve user's subjective emotional state in different life scenes.
