Force tactile feedback technology occupies an important position in the field of virtual reality.Force tactile feedback technology adds force and tactile information to the virtual environment,so as to simulate the human's force and tactile perception process of real objects,and feeds back the force and tactile information in the virtual environment to the operator in a more realistic and natural way,which greatly improves the interactivity of the virtual reality system and the operator's immersion.The image,as a projection of a real object on a two-dimensional plane,records rich detailed information on the surface of the object.Therefore,the research on image-based force tactile feedback technology is of great significance and value.This paper focuses on the research topic of image-based texture roughness force haptic feedback,the starting point is to extract high-quality image texture roughness features and establish a realistic texture roughness force tactile perception model,research on image texture feature extraction algorithm and texture roughness force tactile expression model.First,the current research status of image-based force-tactile reproduction is analyzed,in response to the demand for roughness force feedback,a roughness feedback system based on3 D Systems Touch force feedback equipment is established.This paper proposes an image texture feature extraction method based on local binary pattern(CS-LBP)and Tamura algorithm,and establishes an image texture roughness force perception model with psychophysical characteristics.The operator perceives the texture roughness through the 3D Systems Touch force feedback device,and realizes the force perception reproduction of the image texture roughness.Secondly,in order to improve the feedback authenticity of the image texture roughness,a vibrotactile feedback device based on piezoelectric ceramics is designed.This paper studies the influence of the driving voltage amplitude and frequency on the vibration intensity of the piezoelectric vibrator through the vibration and tactile sensing experiment,so as to establish the mapping relationship between the driving voltage amplitude and frequency and the image roughness,and realize the vibration and tactile feedback of the image roughness.Finally,in order to improve the roughness feedback performance of the 3D Systems Touch force feedback device,this paper uses the vibrating tactile feedback device as an auxiliary device to integrate the 3D Systems Touch force feedback device.A large number of psychophysical experiments prove that the image-based force feedback method proposed in this paper can accurately reproduce the image texture roughness.In addition,the integrated force tactile feedback system has higher perceptual authenticity and perception than a single mode force feedback system.
