Visual and tactile virtual reality technology is to enhance visual stimuli in the virtual reality environment,so that users can feel a stronger roughness when feeling the virtual texture surface,and interact with the virtual texture surface in a more realistic and natural way.This model can be widely applied in many fields.In addition to the advantage of force-tactile interaction in virtual reality,it has the advantage of multi-sensory.The use of multi-sensory channel stimulation can have a stronger integration effect on the brain's center,which is conducive to the establishment of a new virtual force tactile feedback method,which has more important scientific research value.This paper realizes the feedback of texture rough force based on visual and tactile combination in virtual reality environment,and designs a virtual reality texture perception model based on visual and tactile combination.The main research contents of this article are as follows:First,it analyzes the current research status of force-tactile virtual reality at home and abroad.This article uses Geomagic Touch force feedback device to provide tactile feedback.In response to the need for texture tactile force feedback,this paper proposes a texture image feature extraction and classification algorithm.When a texture image is input,the algorithm can generate the force tactile rendering parameters of the corresponding image to achieve the fusion between the image and force tactile.Through texture image feature extraction and classification algorithm,it improves force-tactile interaction in virtual reality environment.Secondly,this paper analyzes the development of tactile haptic virtual reality at home and abroad,and proposes a method to enhance the rough texture of virtual texture images through visual stimulation.This method visually brings a stronger sense of roughness to the user by adding a vibration function to the virtual interaction point.The vibration amplitude of this function is determined by the energy value in the feature parameters of the texture image,and the corresponding visual enhancements can be generated according to the different input images.The combination of visual and tactile sensations improves the user's perception experience.Finally,this paper designs two perceptual psychophysical experiments that combine visual and tactile sensations,open-eye experiment and closed-eye experiment.The open-eye experiment verifies that visual enhancement has a significant effect on the perceived texture roughness,which can effectively improve the success rate of distinguishing different roughness textures.The closed-eye experiment verifies the corresponding feedback force generated by different texture images,which has a significant effect on determining the texture category.The feasibility of the virtual texture model was verified through these two experiments.
