Study On The Physical Evidence Collection And Exhibition Of Economic And Social Development Changes In Shaanxi Province

In 2015,the National Cultural Heritage Administration of China issued a special document,Notice on the Pilot Application for Collection of Material Evidence for Changes in Economic and Social Development.The "Notice" emphasizes that the collecting contents includes the material evidence related to China's economic and social development since1949,especially since the Reform and Opening-up Policy,as well as the material evidence before 1949 which are necessary for the composition of collection system.The purpose of collection is to “collecting today for tomorrow”,to expand the functions and collection system of museums,and to give full play to the functions of museums at all levels,especially in the grass-roots museums in cooperating with key work,keeping sense of rural nostalgia and memory and cultivating love for family and country.The pilot application work initiated by the National Cultural Heritage Administration of China,can not only increase the supply of public cultural products and services,but also serve as the key embodiment of meeting the needs of the people for spiritual and cultural life and telling the story of China's reform and development.In 2016,Shaanxi History Museum was officially selected as a pilot unit in Shaanxi Province to collect material evidence of economic and social development changes by Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Heritage Administration.In the following 2 years,the Shaanxi History Museum has collected about 1323 pieces of material evidence which reflect the economic and social development changes of Shaanxi.In June 2017,the special exhibition of"Years Like Song-Material Evidence of Development in Shaanxi Province Since the Republic of China" held by Shaanxi History Museum.And its touring exhibitions had been held in the cities of Bao Ji,Wei Nan,An Kang,Han Cheng etc.and received high commends with the fact that each museum added their local collections to make the exhibition localization.Through the collecting work of material evidence of China's economic and social development by Shaanxi History Museum since 2016,including the analysis of the exhibition of "Years Like Song-Material Evidence of Development in Shaanxi Province Since the Republic of China" held by Shaanxi History Museum,this paper aims to summarize the characteristics of this kind of special work and exhibition,and put forward constructive suggestions on how to carry out the collecting work better,so as to provide useful reference for promoting the cultural heritage and museum work in Shaanxi Province,especially the exhibition of economic and social development changes.
