The active and passive co-location technology under the distributed radar system can make full use of the different measurement information received by the active node and passive node in the radar system to realize the active and passive co-location of the target and improve the positioning accuracy. The indirect position algorithm generally first extracts relevant measurements from the received signal echo, and constructs a position equation set to solve it;while the direct position algorithm does not have the process of parameter extraction, and directly performs joint processing at the signal level to get the estimated target position. At present, the research on active and passive co-location algorithms is insufficient, which has great research significance.Aiming at the problem of active and passive co-location under distributed radar systems, this paper mainly studies data level active and passive co-location algorithms, signal level active and passive co-location algorithms, and mix level active and passive co-location algorithms for different application scenarios. The specific work content is as follows:Actice direct position algorithm, passive direct position algorithm and indirect position algorithm based on time difference of arrival are studied for a single target positioning problem in distributed radar systems. The simulation experiment under different scenarios is designed, compared to the performance difference between the direct position algorithm and indirect position algorithm.A data level active and passive co-location algorithms based on time difference of arrival is proposed, and the problem of indirect position algorithm in low signal noise ratio with low positioning accuracy is solved by integrating the thoughts of time delay measurement of the active node and the passive node received in the radar system.A signal level active and passive co-location algorithms based on signal measurement is proposed, and the problem of active and passive co-location in direct position algorithm by integrated the intact signal measurement of the active node and the passive node. The algorithm can make full use of the signal measurement information received by the active and passive radar system to complete high precision positioning of the target.A mix level based on signal measurement and time delay measurement is proposed, and achieve the fusion of direct position algorithm and indirect position algorithm by processing different measurement of the active node and passive nodes received in the radar system.Simulation experiments show that the algorithm can take advantage of the signal measurement and time of arrival measurement received in the radar system, effectively improve the target positioning accuracy. All the work in this paper has been verified by computer simulation experiments. The simulation results show that the distributed radar active and passive co-location algorithm studied in this paper can achieve high-efficiency and high-precision positioning of the target.
