Ultra-low duty cycle pulse signal source is an important test stimulus tool in the field of electronic technology,and it is widely used in data domain testing and high-frequency simulation testing.It has programmable diversified signals and large enough drive capacity.It can provide the system under test with pulse signal which is of characteristics of different frequency,pulse width,level,amplitude,and delay,and can select different functions such as working mode and trigger mode.The thesis focuses on the research of ultra-low duty cycle pulse signal generation technology,analyze the synthesis and conditioning technology of ultra-low duty cycle pulse signals and design the circuit.This thesis has achieved the design of an ultra-low duty cycle pulse module with the output frequency range of 1Hz?1MHz and the duty cycle range of 0.01%?1%.The design has achieved the minimum pulse width is 100 ps,the pulse width resolution is 0.5ps,and the maximum output amplitude is 3Vpp,the amplitude resolution is 10 m Vpp and other indicators.On the basis of comparing project indicators and design difficulties,and analyzing related theories and technologies,the paper mainly carried out the following research work:(1)Design of ultra-low duty cycle pulse synthesisThe thesis has studied the technology of ultra-low duty cycle pulse synthesis,combined with the characteristics of wide pulse width range,high pulse width resolution and extremely narrow narrowest pulse width,determined the pulse synthesis technology based on relative delay.The sub-picosecond precision delay system is designed,it has achieved a precise delay of 100ps?10ms.A high-performance T flip-flop is used to form a digital pulse synthesis circuit,which has completed ultra-low duty cycle pulse synthesis.(2)Research on ultra-broadband signal conditioning systemIn order to solve the great difficulty of signal conditioning caused by the ultra-low duty cycle pulse signal band is too wide and the frequency of high-frequency components is too high,this thesis has explored and designed an ultra-broadband signal conditioning channel based on signal decomposition and synthesis using filter banks.This thesis has used the analog filter bank to approach the digital filter bank response to achieve ultrabroadband signal conditioning system based on signal decomposition and synthesis,and has used diplexer and combiner simulation to verify the realization of ultra-broadband pulse signal conditioning.The thesis compares and analyzes the ultra-broadband signal conditioning system of sub-band conditioning,and completes the design of the subject's ultra-low duty cycle pulse conditioning system.(3)Design of ultra-low duty cycle pulse conditioningThis thesis analyzes various linear conditioning techniques and non-linear conditioning techniques according to the design indicators of the subject,and completes the design of ultra-low duty cycle pulse conditioning circuit combined with the ultrabroadband signal conditioning system.The low frequency conditioning circuit is constructed by using nonlinear conditioning technology based on differential amplifier circuit combined with constant current source and constant voltage source circuit,and the high frequency conditioning circuit is constructed by using RF amplifier as the core RF amplification technology combined with RF attenuator and RF bias tree.The thesis has successfully completed all the work content.After debugging and testing and analysis,the designed ultra-low duty cycle pulse synthesis and conditioning module meets the functional requirements of the subject.
