Ku-band satellite communication ground transmitter plays an important role in the component of satellite communication.Its function is to convert the IF signal sent by the channel machine to the required frequency band and amplify the power of it.The paper introduces the application background of the project and the practical application of the field of satellite communication to show the development prospect and engineering value of the project.This paper introduces the design process of a Ku-band satellite communication ground transmitter.At the beginning of the paper,it introduces the selection method of the final power amplifier chip and the realization of the power combing network according to the index.Then deciding the selection of the driving amplifier according to its final power amplifier module,and then introducing the corresponding devices and their related electrical components selected to realize the related index functions.The paper puts forward how to convert an intermediate frequency signal with power of-23 dbm ± 2dB and frequency of 2.25GHz-3.6GHz to an RF signal with output power of46.5dbm and frequency of 13.75GHz-14.5GHz after a series of processing.This paper introduces the production process of the project and the system index test detailly.The test results show that the maximum output power of the Ku band satellite communication ground transmitter is above 46.5dbm,and between-55? to 70?,the phase noise can meet the requirements of-63dbc/Hz@100Hz,-73dbc/Hz@1k Hz,-83dbc/Hz@10k Hz,-93dbc/Hz@100k Hz.The project has high engineering value in the field of satellite communication.
