The feeding network is the key component of antenna array,and it directly affects the performance of the array.With the development of phased array antennas towards broadband and multi-polarization,higher requirements have been placed on the power division network and power divider.According to the requirements of a pre-research project antenna system,this paper has carried out research,design,debugging and testing of various power dividers and power division networks.The main work and innovations of the paper are as follows:1)A theoretical study of the basic composition of the power division network and the influence of the power division network on the antenna is carried out.The scattering parameters of various microstrip power dividers and multiway cascaded power dividers are derived using even-odd mode analysis.The effect of the connection lines on the cascaded power divider is analyzed.The influence of the loss of the power division network on the antenna is described,and the microstrip discontinuties and its compensation methods are emphasized.2)A 256-ports power division network has been designed for the circular microstrip array antenna with triangular grid array.The designed power division network is separated from the array and it is composed of planar 16-ports Wilkinson power divider.The design scheme is elaborated in detail,and the simulation results and test results are compared and analyzed.3)A 24-ports multilayer power division network integrated with microstrip dual circular polarization antenna is designed after analyzing the shortcomings of the planar multiway power division network.A complete multilayer power division network design scheme is given,and the simulation results are analyzed and discussed in detail.4)Furthermore,a 3D structured wideband bandpass microstrip power divider was designed.The basic coupling topology evolved from Marchand balun,slot-coupled diamondshape microstrip line and microstrip defect structure are adopted to realize the broadband bandpass and wide stopband characteristics.The test results agree well with the simulation results,verifying the correctness of the design.This article discusses three types of power division networks and power dividers that evolve from planar structures to 3D integration,and from separation to integration.The involved design methods and circuit structures contribute to antenna feeding network design.
